The biggest stars are still rich, but fewer of the second and third-tier ones. Norwegian artists, who were never very big to begin with, are struggling. Sure, concerts make lots of money for some. But you have to have a name for the bigger arrangers to want you there. Music companies also take less risks, more often pitching solid acts rather than new ones. From what I hear, recruitment suffers. But I won't claim to be an expert. Perhaps things are brighter elsewhere.

The first clay event rarely goes entirely as planned, but if you're adamant Nadal won't win then I find it hard to look past Monaco. I'm not making any solid predictions here, though.

The doubles are for match practice, which makes sense to get match tough, but only if he can take it physically. Let's hope he can.
