i am not sure lurker.

it may have been in 2007 when he wore that outfit. i still think that he should have been the ultimate trend setter.

he should have forever wore those spanish colors and those very same spanish color muscle shirt forever once he brought spain the gold.

and he should have kept his long hair. he looks like a buffoon with short hair.

that look had become global brand for him. NIKE messed him up by forcing him to conform

The long hair, muscle T and clamdiggers were signature.  But his results didnt suffer when he let them go, so I cant complain.  I did like the long hair though.  It just doesnt look good when the hair starts to thin, and Rafa's hair is starting to thin already. :(

lurker i would have let those stupid pants go as they were not really efficient but definitely not the muscle shirt and the long hair since he is going to be bald anyway in a few years. why not enjoy your long hair while you can.

verdasco and f lopez have long hair again.

Yay!  More Nole fans!  Gotta appreciate his game, work ethic, and general affability.  His Twitter feed is next to none as far as tennis players go.

I read that Rafa's knees are stilll bothering him and that is the real reason he pulled out of Australia.  I dunno...I hope the real reason is...he saw reason, and clay is where he really needs to make his comeback.

Kim Clijsters retired then made her comeback on her best surface, hardcourt.  She was realistic and never foolish enough to even try to play on clay during her 'second career.'   Rafa does not need to waste his remaining tennis time on hard courts.  He can make some feeble attempt on grass, but he really should let that go too.  He has one or two RG left in him if he just dedicates himself to clay.
