Welcome!
Asia is a continent underrepresented in tennis, though improving

I thought since we had an Italian player thread, we should have one for Asia which makes up 60% of world's population. Of course, most relatively well-off Asians (like me) are too busy succeeding in life to pay attention to tennis

Anyway, here are some notable Asian tennis players. I don't really count Kazakhstan because all their tennis players are just Russians who play for Kazakhstan for the money
Kei "Samurai" NishikoriGo Soeda (Go Soeda!)
Somdev Devvarman (Indian Monfils)
Di Wu (funny little guy)
Ze Zhang (Inconsistent big guy)
Denis Istomin, if you count Uzbekistan as Asian and not European
Tatsuma "Dragon" Ito
Yuichi Sugita
Prakash Amritraj (son of tennis and movie star)
Sanam Singh (rising youngster)
Nam Ji Sung
Yen-Hsun Lu (challenger and grand slam vulture)
Tsung Hua Yang (insanely talented, search on youtube)
Danai Udomchoke (more like You do choke

)
Leander Paes (IMO he's an idiot)
Mahesh Bhupati
Aisam Ul-Haq Qureshi
Honorable Retiree: Paradorn Srichapan the contortionist.
.................
And on the women's side of course- Li Na

Peng Shuai, etc
Did I miss anyone notable?
