nadal beats nearly 100% of the left handers in his career freaky.

True enough, but I still think he has less of an advantage against them. The good score is mainly due to a lack of great lefties in our current era. Second-tier players he can of course beat anyway.

Federer has a much better % of wins against any lefty that is not Nadal than he has against righthanders. Same for Djokovic.

Can you PM me too? I'm a curious type. But very discreet.

Done.

Litotes, without looking anything up, can you name a lefty who has beaten Nadal at the ATP level?

Verdasco once.

I checked his record - it is 63-6. So five losses unaccounted for. Can't say that I remember any of them. Could be from 2002-04, of course.

its like his clay court losses. he has lost only 8 matches on clay in the last 8 years.

all other losses were prior to 2005.

of course he will never ever lose on clay again if he quits tomorrow.

i hope he is happy being bored to death playing poker and golf for the next 60 years. he is going to regret not being on the courts before long.

his tennis life is going to be cut extremely short unless he makes drastic changes in his training and he decides once and all to try to improve.

he has not improved at all since 2010. in fact the whole field has improved and he has gone backwards.

i really believe he was born dumber than mike tyson.

Verdasco once.

Good one. The one I was thinking of was Melzer. Now I must look for the other ones...

Here's the tally of Nadal's lefty losses, it's actually 7 if you count the withdrawal:

Verdasco
Melzer
Guccione (by retirement)
Lopez x2
Labadze (by withdrawal)
Muller

that is true. i remember it now.

verdasco got his once in a life time thrill when he managed to beat him on that blue clay.

nadal was leading in that match if i am not mistaken.

Melzer? Completely forgot that one. Haven't thought of any of the others either, I'm stuck here.

He had 5-2 in the deciding set, yes. Quite shocking to see him lose that.

i think he gave up. he actually made a decison to lose that one.

probably a smart move. he told his team before the match that he was suffering from a lot of pain in the knee.

Muller, of course, I forgot he was a lefty. Wimbledon 2005.

Lopez x 2? When? Let's check....Queens 2010, could have remembered that one if my mind was working. Basel 2003? No surprise that didn't come to mind....
