Hi everyone!  Weekend finally here!  Still have to work but only a few hours each day.  Hope to catch up on more tennis.  Shockers...rafa nearly ousted, fed ousted.  And haas is in the semis in san jose!  Looks like the erstwhile pair of Nalby and Nadal are on a collision course for the final.  NalFATian will get Rafa this time.  (btw, I think NalFATian is a tongue in cheek endearing kind of nickname for a guy we all kinda like here...even his blow up in England last year can't tarnish his image with true tennis aficionados)

Nole and ferrer sat this week out...very smart for them.  Murray too.

The WTA is playing true to form ths week.  And Serena is no. 1 again!!!  :cheer:

CD must be hammering down the scotch again!

Kiki and Cory are wanting to go out to play...again.  I will indulge them in a moment.

Rafa is not in a good place mentally.  And, physically...am I the only one to notice he is beginning to make NalFATian look downright anorexic?  Excess weight is never good on the knees.  There is good reason to worry about Rafa.  I am afraid he may make a fool of himself again at RG a la 2009 again.  He's even wearing pink again!!!

oh let them play, do you play the balls throwing games to them?  :))

oh i didn't notice that rafa has gained weight?  He should be careful, additional weight is no good to his already fragile knees .......

i am afraid he is going out in 1st round of RG ............  ://

First rd of RG will be most dangerous for Rafa.  He'll get some Q or LL or W or rising ATP in the low 100s who is brimming with confidence and bravado.  Just what Rafa's fragile psyche and knee don't need.

Well, if Rafa gets thumped by Ferrer or Nico in the South American swing this year we may see him pulling out of RG.  Well, no, likely we'll see, much to CD's chagrin, Rafa will play singles and doubles at Indian Wells and Miami to make up for lost prize money!!! :)>>>> :)>>>>

Kind of similar what I did here, I made it only for the tennis-community, "Johnny Viruz", I don't think anyone would find me with that username, lol  :))

16-Year-Old Rafael Nadal on Trans World Sport

herc, this video its more interesting than watching the impersonation of Nadal destroy his image on clay. Painful I tell you  :(

good to see you general huntingyou. i have been on the road most of the day. i just walked in the house.

i hear ya man. i amworried about the clay warrior.

we have lots of fans here that care about nadal. lurker, mimi, and betty to name a few right of the bat.

everybody is wondering how he could have throw away his fitness and his ground game.

now we dont know if he has enough time to get it going.

you can get a little more consistent with more matches and more practice but how on earth do you find fitness in time for RG.

i am far more concerned about the fitness part.

hola lurker. i am very worried about nadal.

dont know what is going to happen.

if he does skip RG then that is the worst possible scenario. i am afraid that means he has quit.

and it looks likie he has quit anyway. how on earth do you not hit balls and keep working on your game all those 8 months.

like general huntingyou says, he is not even top 20 right now. he is being generous.

nadal has really lost it. it is is probably more accurate to say that he threw it away.

que pasa betty. i missed you too. i have been gone all day and most of the night. i am just walking in the house.

hell there general alex, mimzy, and the others.
