que pasa general MC.

who are you picking in rotterdam and in brazil general?

i have roger and almgaro.

and i have nadal going out in the quarters there or sooner in singles. he is in no shape to play. it is pitiful what he has become.

Rotterdam - I picked Federer to defend his title.  I can't see him losing prior to the final.  If Del Potro makes it to the final, we might get a good one.

Brazil - I boldly picked Zeballos, because he is the hottest clay court player on the planet now.  But he could also be easily bounced against someone like Almagro given that his class is not that high. But if Zeballos gets by Almagro, I think he will make it the rest of the way to the final.  If Bellucci gets hot, he might make it to the semifinal vs. Nadal. That would be an interesting match.  But I think Nadal will make it to the final again.  Can't say if he'll win it though, his return right now is awful.

IF Nadal continues returning serve from downtown Sao Paulo, instead of a meter or two from behind the baseline, it sends the server a message, no?  Hey Mr. Server, I'm afraid of your serve,  I need to be back as far as I can to make sure it doesn't go by me.  He needs to get up there somewhere nearer the line and challenge these guys.   He'll get the ball back deeper and quicker, instead of floating shots to the service line for easy put-aways.

I'm still not happy with Clay Warrior. :(   He needs to hire a new coach with some of the millions he is getting for these Golden Swing tournaments.

Respectfully,
masterclass

And also, to continue the thought, Nadal isn't returning serve against the likes of Raonic or Isner or Rosol to be standing next to the back fence.  And it is still clay for God's sake. Where will he stand when he plays those kind of servers on grass or hard courts, outside the stadium?

By the way, where is General Shankar?  I'd like to hear his thoughts on Nadal.  I know he wasn't happy with Nadal excusing himself from the Australian Open, but now that he is playing, I thought Sir Shanks would be back in business... :)

Thanks Princess Betty.  Everyone is pretty healthy.  I'm hopefully in the last stages of my coughing illness.  I'm getting solid sleep now, so that is good.  And the cough is not as strong or frequent, and I'm feeling stronger day by day.

general MC the return of serve is a massive liability for nadal but it has been that way since 2010. only it keeps getting worse because he is dead set on not working on it. and it shows.

why do you think this moron is playing doubles. he actually believe that he can work on his serve and his return when playing doubles.

but his biggest problem is being unfolded right before very eyes. only i saw this happening 5 years ago. a time was going to come when clay was not going to save him anymore.

he was going to wear his ass out with his infatuation with hard courts and he was going to make the knee a lot worse than it was in 2009. he made his one last massive push in 2010 and then let everything go. why do you think nole kicked his sorry ass all over the place in 2011?

he let his fitness go and he stopped working hard enough to maintain his game, let alone try to improve.

and now he shows up here in chile with a 40% drop in fitness and 15-17 extra pounds. believe it or not but he complained about being tired in chile.

so this is all lip service. he will milk the sponsors for another year then eventually they will start dropping him.

he does not care enough general masterclass. and that is the bottom line.

bettsy said it best: she said its his life.

i personally don't like the camelot thing, told CD about a month ago but it's not such a big deal, I won't leave until the next volume or the one after that for petty things like that  ;-()
