The match finished.  Hopefully this will lower Dull's confidence a bit.

Does  Starace still play singles?

he says he has a bad knee so he shows up fat, soft, out of shape and 12-15 pounds heavier.

he was also telling gimelstob that his golf game is improving and that he is also spending lots and lots of time playing poker.

drunk driver demolished muster`s knee and it did not stop muster. he was forced to be strapped to a bench and he was hitting balls all day on the court.

lance armstrong was given less than 40% chance to live. it did not stop him even for a minute. no sooner than his very chemo sessions would be over, he was going for 60 mile bike rides.

nadal had no business showing up in a such a pathetic shape. and then he plays lip service and yet shows zero focus on his singles game.

his singles game is absolutely shot and yet he was focused on winning doubles.

i am glad he lost both. i hope he never wins another singles match again.

then he can go play his damn golf, his poker, his exos, and his doubles all he likes. also pull on his stupid underwear from day to night with no time constraints.

he brags about his indoor hard court on his facbook page and now cant beat totally useless players even on clay in 3rd rate events.

i can now pretty much give you this in writing: he wil lose in brazil and acapulco also. hell now i am not even sure if he will win a single event until he gets to RG.

no way he can make up  lost fitness and the lost singles game in time to win RG.

he had absolutely no clue out there. zeballos spotted him a set and still made him look like a buffoon. nadal was even leading 4-3 in the 2nd set.

has anybody noticed how many finals nadal has lost since 2010? its because of the drop in fitness and lack of proper preparation and proper focus on the singles game.

both murray and nole first serves average 120 MPH to 125 MPH. he could not get back 100 MPH serves today on clay for the whole match.

that is pretty sad if you ask me. i dont buy the knee excuse. he could have still practiced all those 8 months. you make some adjustments but you do not get off the court.

chardy hit every other ball into the net or out yesterday. nadal did not win that match.

you are a player in your prime with your rankings falling like a rock. you do not get off the court no matter what.

injuries are part and parcel of any great warrior. and a great warrrior does not let injuries stop him or even slow him down. he has turned into clueless, focusless fool.

the funny thing is i actually told people fully 5 years ago here and at MTF that this was going to happen. i told people that he was going to end up losing his key competitive advantage on clay because of his inafatuation with hard courts, his doubles, his golf, and his exos.
i should have added poker and the games on the computer.

it is all lip service. he and his team has to lie for the sake of the sponsors and the fans. just look at him. he looks soft and 15 pounds heavier since 2012 wimbledon. he has not been working hard enough.

2 days ago he was telling somebody in vina del mar that he was tired. can you believe that crap.
now he is a lost soul on all fronts. he did not back out of australian open because of a flu. he backed out because he knew he was going to get killed there.

If Rafa doesn't win next 2 tournaments on clay his confidence will be dented.8 months lay off and failure at the South  American swing won't be good signs for his chances at RG.

i saw the match yesterday against chardy. he looked the worst he ever has. even as a junior he was beating the world`s best.

today he showed he can be even worse today than yesterday.

he is again playing doubles in brazil. this time with nalbandian.

no way he is winning the singles there. nably can volley and he can actually return serve. so he might be able to carry nadal in doubles but again the lost focus on singles will cost nadal.

he is not the player who learns. in fact he absolutely refuses to learn a damn thing.

if RG was played next week nole would win the title without losing a single set to anybody.

nadal coud not get back 100 MPH serves today so how the hell is going to get back 127-130 MPH serves by nole.

you cannot win if you cannot break in this game.

pls don't blame him that much, no body wants to get injured.  With an always injured body, he managed to win 11 slams, thats not bad.

good question. we see things one way while he and his team has to put a different spin for the sponsors and the fans and the media.

tony--his uncle--would say that he is doing good since this was his first tournament. and they forever have that convenient knee excuse.

you saw my 2 posts above. nadal should have been able fight through the injury.

and he should have showed up lean and mean. he showed up totally unprepared and soft. he is about 12-15 pounds heavier.

so its obvious they will just pay a huge lip service. the fact of the matter is that he is not quite driven anymore.

he cant win in brazil and in acapulco either.

i said this months ago: he will lose in monte carlo this year. now it looks like he may not win a single event on clay until RG rolls around.

he might get it together after about 5 matches at RG but we will have to wait and see.
