Betty! I see you got an answer from a very disappointed fan. My take on the final - I thought this was about the best I've seen from a man who's been out with injury for more than half a year. Sure, he was definitely not at his best. But he played a decent match. Zeballos played great, and still Nadal was only two points away from winning in straights (6-6 in the 2nd set TB). With the improvements one tend to get after playing a bit more, I believe he will be a force to be reckoned with later in the clay season.
hi Markus and thanks
i thought it btw..i know it is never easy despite one training to come back after so long time, ofc now he is not ready for fed, nole ecc but i hope he ll be for the europe clay season
play in soUTH America will help him to take the right timing of the balls and the selfconfidence he needs
fingers crossed
Of course it's not easy after so long. It would be nothing less than a miracle if he was at his best right away. But of course, one understands his disappointed fans - they've seen nothing of the man since late June last year. They are eager and hopeful to see his best. And so this understandably feels like a letdown.
Next week will be interesting. All I'm saying about that, is second tournament back can often be more difficult than the first, but if this proves to be the case - don't despair. He's got time before the really important ones.
