it is not too clear so i dont know how to fix that. pictures found on the internet are not very high resolution.

i think carlos berlocq and gasquet should do well tomorrow general viruzzz.
 
gasquet is 15-1 so far in 2013 so he is on a bit of a roll.
 
del potro should win tomorrow as well. and nadal pretty much has to win to get some momentum and confidence going. lets see how it all plays out.

Gasquet is playing pretty nice tennis and should do very well this tournament, maybe even reaching the final. (I still hope Roger can win the whole thing, sadly Tsonga lost in R1, that was sad).
Berlocq needs to win, he never played Nadal before and he was soooo happy when he played Fed, like his dream came true. He needs to make true another dream and play Rafa

I woke up this morning to be surprised by some more results.  Chardy loses early again to Alund. There goes my Suicide Tennis pick.  My backup Souza did better. 

Also I see Nadal and Nalbandian  withdrew from their doubles match.  I guess they will finally focus on singles.

And general viruzzz is right. It is going to be a very interesting day for tennis.  I might have to take the day off to watch some of it

Feeling much better thanks!  That whooping cough I caught during the holidays was bad news, but I'm finally better, maybe 90% now. 
I hope you are well.  A lot of focus on your neck of the woods in the last 2 or 3 months, with Federer's exhibition tour and Nadal return to action. It's all good.

well nadal really had no business entering the doubles anyway. he was complaining about being tired in chile. can you believe that?


that doubles match was late last night. i understand it went the distance too. it is quite difficult to go to sleep after competing that late.

Yes.  Well I'll call it your thread , even if I started it, I just copied it.   

Too bad Federer fizzled out for the year after dominating Cincinnati.  6 titles for the year to that point, then nothing in his usual better time of the year, from the US Open to the World Tour Finals.  I would have counted him to get at least 2 titles more, but I guess he was just a bit tired from all the earlier efforts - 9 titles in about 10 months that got him back to #1 for a spell.

I might copy my Nadal 50 clay titles thread over here also, but for some reason that one is not generating the interest the Federer thread does.

at the rate nadal is going, that 50 title thing is looking like a distant dream.

taking 7-8 months off at a time and not doing a damn thing but playing golf and poker is not going to cut the mustard.
