general freaky i have a new assignment for you: 
a sig contest for next month. i think we should consider a friendly sig contest for the month of march.
we can try it and see how it goes. all that will be needed is a simple sig contest thread where people can vote for the sig they like the best.
it would take less than 2 seconds to vote. everybody can vote obviously. it does not matter whether you have a unique sig or not. you are allowed one vote. you can vote for your own sig or you can vote for somebody else`s sig.
and if people like then we can try it again in a few months.
first we would need a thread here. it will serve as a general discussion thread for sigs and also it will serve to determine who will be entering the sig contest. lets just say that we need a minimum of 10-15 people for the contest.
it may get more people involved with sigs. sigs make the forum more colorful and more fun.
sigs can also be a recruiting tool. more and more people are checking out the forums here. sigs make it a nice experience for them.
Great idea General! Would that entail creating our own sigs? Like should I make a new one for myself? Or can we use our current ones, even if you made it?

as i suggested, i see recruiting possibilities in this deal: i think sigs make our forum more colorful and also more interesting. they also get people more involved in the players they support.
and since we are getting as many as 65-67 guests here at the chat section alone at any one time, we are enhancing their browsing experience. it also lets them know about the various players we support. there is no telling how many total number of people are visiting every single day.
and one does not have to have players in their sig anyway but it turns out that most do.
some people will step foreward and ask us to make them cool sigs while other will start creating them for themselves because of the contest.
we go with the current ones that we have.
i say we shoot for 10 people and but let them know that we need 15 to have some fun with it. more people getting involved would mean more fun.
also you do not need to have a sig of your own to vote.
you do not need to enter the contest in order to vote.
anyway we can try out the idea. we would need such a thread right here at the chat section.
finally you do not need to have a sig with players only. emma may have a sig with marilyn monroe images for example.
