as i suggested, i see recruiting possibilities in this deal: i think sigs make our forum more colorful and also more interesting. they also get people more involved in the players they support.

and since we are getting as many as 65-67 guests here at the chat section alone at any one time, we are enhancing their browsing experience. it also lets them know about the various players we support. there is no telling how many total number of people are visiting every single day.



and one does not have to have players in their sig anyway but it turns out that most do.



some people will step foreward and ask us to make them cool sigs while other will start creating them for themselves because of the contest.

we go with the current ones that we have.

i say we shoot for 10 people and but let them know that we need 15 to have some fun with it. more people getting involved would mean more fun.

also you do not need to have a sig of your own to vote.

you do not need to enter the contest in order to vote.

anyway we can try out the idea. we would need such a thread right here at the chat section.

finally you do not need to have a sig with players only. emma may have a sig with marilyn monroe images for example.

One more question: Can we enter multiple sigs? Like a max of 3? We don't necessarily have to use them all, but just post them to enter them in the contest?

to make it the fair and most fun i think the contest should involve our best sig that is in place at the time of the contest.
 
for example i am going with the one i have right now. you get one vote. you can vote for your own sig or you can vote for somebody else`s sig.

and there is more than enough time for somebody to ask us to help them with their sig if they want to. or they can create their own.

eh, Sir Markus, I barely count many of W. Renshaw's wins given his automatic bye to what was technically called the "Challenge Round", which came after what was called the "All Comers Final" (the finalists from the main knockout draw).  So, I'm certainly not going to count his automatic bye challenge rounds as any kind of record setting achievement with respect to a true knockout draw Finalist.   But this is all getting to be a bit pedantic for my tastes.
