Jerzy....   keep thinking about this guy. It all started with "How many times???     Tell me!". 
 
Then I saw him play again, I was waiting for another outburst. But what I got is a player who can regularly serve at 140 mph. I never thought he was so tall, not by the way he moves.
 
This guy may be a force, he has the good serve and can hit the ball.
I like him much more than Dimitrov, Harrison and a few other young guns.
 
So what I'm looking for now is Jerzy, Gulbis and Del Potro to take it up another level.
I think all 3 will be making an impact before long.

Tsonga is the king of Marseille this year.

I'm not sure why Tsonga started off so tentatively. Whilst Berdych did well to stay focused & win the first set, Tsonga effectively lost it with his inability to serve well & unforced errors. But both men held their own in the 2nd set, with Tsonga settling down, & neither man giving ground. The inevitable tiebreak could have been Tsonga's exit, except that Berdych somehow lost momentum, despite having match point. One was reminded of how often he seems to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. This match should have been his in straight sets.
No doubt bolstered by winning the tiebreak, Tsonga played some wonderful tennis in the 3rd set, taking his break points & getting the job done in style. A good win for him.
