agreed lurker. fast hard courts means trouble for berdych.

roger will bring out the heavy artillery tomorrow. if the serve and the forehand are working,  he will take down berdych in straights.

E gul has been reported to say he is being serious with his tennis now...and will finally perfom his best for the few years he has left.  Let's see if his money is where his mouth is.  Will he break the top ten?  Will he win a slam?

he won this event back in 2010 lurker.

the guy has gifts from the gods. he can do anything on the court.

his problem is that his dad is a multi billionaire.

i am sure he can make some strides if he can find the hunger and the drive from within.

He said he wants to win a big tournament, I assume he means a slam.
Everyone wants one though, and with the vicious dogs guarding the gates it wont be easy.

But as CD says, he really is gifted.  His problem has been similar to the pre-2011 Nole.  It's all in the head.  He has to want it.  So does he really want it?  Or is he only all talk?

I believe he wants it Lurker. All the signs are there.

He's massively talented, taking down some of the top players without proper practice, which he has neglected till recently. He quit smoking and drinking.
I don't know about the woman though.

E-Gul can do anything he wants. he is one of my favorite players.

i have always found his abilities amazing. he can even blast serves in excess of 145 MPH if he wants to.

he can hit backhands and forehands in excess of 100 MPH. slice and volleys need some work but he can improve those areas that if he wants to.

his problems:

1. lack of serious fitness
2. lack of consistency

E gul was smoking and drinking the last few years away?  Now that explains a lot.

Well, after Isner and Anderson expend themselves trying to out ace each other, E gul should manage to walk away with this title again.  Whether he does or doesn't, his showing at Indian Wells and Miami will answer all our questions.

Yes, now where did mimi go?

Many have waited to see a change in him.

I've brought it up a few weeks ago at several tennis boards and now there's all kinds of threads about him everywhere, many are watching.

About fitness, he just said today if he is fit and works then confidence will follow.
He also said he's now in the best shape, he looks physically solid.

Well, it took 3 MP but Rafa finally gets it done.  Nico up next...danger time.

E Gul needs to let the racket and results do the talking thru Miami before I start hanging any hopes on him aagain.

I feel the same way but I'm hopeful, very hopeful.
A few years ago I supported him and waited and waited, when I saw the pitiful play from him I had to drop him from my favorites.
