Ferrer just won 6-3 6-1.
I couldn't watch it, the TV coverage starts in the Almagro-Zeballos match here in Argentina.
He was finally broken this tournament. But still, he made a great victory...
From what I saw yersterday and in a little highlights of today, he walls every damn ball who goes to his side.
I see him in the final without problems. Now... The big question is, can Ferrer beat Rafa?
Rafa isn't 100%, but he's playing pretty well, better than Sao Paulo, no doubts.
His forehand is working well and he's moving good.
Still... Ferrer troubled Rafa in Barcelona and the first set of Rome last year... Then we know what happened

But still... We should consider Ferrer is hungry and he doesn't want to lose points.
This is the final we all expect. Before the tournament started, I thought Rafa was going to lose to Almagro (I thought he wasn't that good yet), after the first match, i'm sure he's going to reach the final, and now I think he's probably going to win the whole thing.
But... Even thinking that, I still give some respect to Ferrer, I think ATM, the match is 50-50 chances for both.
I give a little edge to Rafa, but not big... This is the match i'm really waiting for...
(Because I think Roger's doomed in Dubai, sadly X__X)
Fed played better today, solid performance all around, so there's definitely hope for tomorrow. Haven't seen anything of Berdych, though, he's played while I'm working, so difficult to tell where he's at. One thing is certain - Berdych has never in his career played finals two weeks in a row, so he's trying for a first.
Yup... Berdych will be on fire.
And I understand him, I mean, some people always say: "Berdych plays his best only with Fed".
I personally don't think so, but giving them the right hand and considering that opinion a fact... What's the big deal?
I mean... He's playing FEDERER, of course he's going to try the best, I will play my absolutely damn best vs Roger, Roger is someone really big. Not so many people can say "I've beaten Fed in Wimbledon and USO".
(...Wait, I think it's only him the one who can say that...)
I watched some cool highlights about the match, Roger seems to be serving well. Now I have a little hope of him vs both Berdych and Nole, but i'm still considering Nole the favorite and difficult for Fed to win.
...Time will tell.
BTW, let's make a little bit of preview with this pic I made last year
