Topic: Djokovic current level of play

I have watched couple of matches Djokovic played at the Dubai,one against Del Po and the final against Berdych, and his level of play this year is amazing so far. His forehand is a weapon, he doesn't miss a backhand, his return of serve is beyond belief, serve has gotten much better, groundies are deep and consistent on both wings. He appears calm even when he is down a break or set, and he can play long 5 setters if he have to and grind it out and wins almost all of them.

At this current level of play, can any one stop him at the majors this year? It would take a phenomenal effort to stop him IMO.

yeah, I've seen all of his matches and all I can say is 'unbelievable' ... focused, composed, deadly FH/BH, ROS out of this world, moving like a puma ... just crazy and I'm not saying this as his fan  . Novak is super confident atm. Not sure who or what can take him down at the moment

He is raw nasty right now.  Confidence is high and his strokes and balance are so solid.  If I had to play him I would smoke him.

He has a good chance in everything.  His mental toughness is amazing and his game follows suit.  He will have some losses this year, that is expected.  But he really raises his game on the big stages when he needs to.  I see no reason he can't hold onto the #1 spot this year, injury pending.
