Pity Tipsarevic is injured. Davydenko won, but it was an odd match, JT having been assertive at first, but losing in straight sets.
I watched the Del Potro / Baghdatis match & enjoyed it. Both men can play some excellent tennis & did so. JMD-P played a poor game to lose the 1st set, but improved focus & got the break early in the 2nd set, keeping the advantage to take the set. The 3rd was closely contested & JMD-P saved match points against him to get it to a TB. This no doubt gave him momentum as he stayed ahead in much of the TB to win it. Well done to him for getting through a close match against an opponent he struggles with.
Tomic is out - apparently injured. Tsonga / Llodra should be a good match.
I'm watching Djokovic / Troicki as I work. ND is up a break & putting pressure on VT's serve, breaking again to go up 4-1. There will no surprises in this match, which should be a straight sets win for ND.
