General MC and myself both know we always get a lot of surprises in IW R1. The difference between us, he can tell where they're happening. I can't. Oh well, at least I won't place lower than my new ranking.

Everyone gets lucky sometimes...  As general Markus pointed out, many players have been upset in recent events, so I went with the trend. And yes, the tricky part is getting the right players... but I'm not telling my rationale yet, though some may figure it out. :)  You win some and you lose some.  I thought  Kubot and Bellucci could win, but Kubot just choked when he had the match just about won, serving, leading 7-5, 5-2 and lost 5 straight games. Bellucci was never in it.

Haas is not my most unusual pick...:)
Just to clarify, before some astute observer might say something, I picked Bye over Fish :lol:.  I had heard a rumor he might withdraw, so that's why Bye got the nod ;)

I noticed that MC, and it doesn't matter because bye matches don't get any points. I just fill in the winner as "Bye" so no one gets added points, so I had to change your pick to Fish or else you would get a 20 point unfair advantage  :)~
