Fish was up 2 breaks in that second set - and still lost the match in straight sets!  You can tell he's still rusty!

Novak playing utter sh!t and still winning in 2 sets, I'll go with it. Dimitrov serving for the first set and sh!tting his pants making 4 DB, just great ...

Murray vs. Lu. Should be straight forward.

Murray pulled this out but it was some really good play from Lu.

I was hoping for more of a battle, but it was good tennis, nonetheless.

Tennis Channel needs to go kill themselves. Showing the 1 seed (Azarenka) blow away an unseeded player instead of showing Kirilenko (13 seed) upset the 3 seed. IDIOTS! Who on this PLANET shows 1 vs nothing instead of 3 vs. 13? Just when I was starting to forgive Tennis Channel for hardly showing anything decent the last few years, they go and do this.

I think maybe they have no choice except court 1 and 2.  Court 3 is not getting the camera love.  Don't know if it even has one.

I'd rather see Kerber vs. relatively unknown but apparently talented Muguruza but we are 'treated' to Woz hopefully getting slammed by Petrova.

It does have one. Earlier, they showed Djoker's match, clips of Haas vs. Almagro, and clips of Querrey vs. Matosevic all at the same time. Tennis Channel is just a bunch of idiots and would rather show the mid-to-end of first set of one match than the END of another match. I would've rather watched the end of Kerber's match as well. Kerber is quickly becoming one of my favorites in the Women's game. Though I gotta disagree with you on the last part. I'm going for Wozniacki.

Haas won after a good contest in 3 sets. Nothing against Almagro, who often tries hard, but it's good to see Haas enjoying his tennis in his dotage.  I also watched Cilic / Raonic & Tsonga / Fish.
I like Cilic's game but enjoyed how Raonic shook out his cobwebs, took his chances & then remained focused.
Tsonga seemed unhappy throughout & his sloppy play at times probably added to it. But he found his key in the 2nd set TB & just blew Fish away, playing a superb all-court game.  It was nice to see Fish back & he put up good resistance, playing well at times.
Nishikori simply was't up to much here. There was little focus and whilst I congratulate the unseeded Berlocq for beating the number 16 seed, Nishikori was instrumental in his own demise.
The time difference meant I couldn't watch more, but none of the results surprise me.

I saw bits of the Azarenka / Radwanska & Sharapova / Arruabarrena  matches.
I am still surprised at the contradiction in Sharapova.  To look at, elegant, poised, majestic. Then the  shrieking. The mute was activated post haste.  Once she found momentum, the arising onslaught demolished her opponent, making the effort put up in the first set, a distant memory.
Azarenka seems on course too. I'm pleased Errani & Stosur are still in the mix.

WTA Singles - Fourth Round  12.03.13

Today's schedule is just dripping with potentially good matches.  I'm hopeless at meaningful predictions, but excellent at meaningless ones, so here goes something or nothing.

My ones to watch are Federer/Wawrinka, in which I hope they play their best tennis. If so, it could be an excellent match & I expect Federer to come through.   Raonic/ Tsonga ought to be a cracker, and if Tsonga plays as he did in the 2nd set TB against Fish, I expect him to come through.  Berdych / Gasquet looks promising too and if Gasquet plays well, I think he can beat Berdych.
In the rest, I see little chance of Gulbis, Querry,Haas & Berlocq doing anything but packing their bags after a straight sets capitulation in their respective matches.   Out of these, Gulbis could, if his tennis works as hard as his mouth, give Nadal a well contested match, but I won't bet on it.

Simon played a very odd match against Paire to get here & Anderson played well against Ferrer. I'll go with KA in this one.

The Fleming/Hanley -v- Soares/ Peya doubles match is one I'd have liked to watch, but can't due to the time difference.

As for the women, two potentially good matches. I see a Sharapova & Kvitova win in each.

SCHEDULE FOR WEDNESDAY 13.03.13:

STADIUM 1 Start 11:00 am

[18] Stanislas Wawrinka (SUI) v [2] Roger Federer (SUI)
[5] Rafael Nadal (ESP) v [Q] Ernests Gulbis (LAT)

Not Before 7:00 PM
[6] Sara Errani (ITA) v [2] Maria Sharapova (RUS)

Not Before 8:30 PM
[1] Novak Djokovic (SRB) v [23] Sam Querrey (USA)

STADIUM 2 Start 11:00 am
Treat Huey (PHI)/Jerzy Janowicz (POL) v [WC] James Blake (USA)/Mardy Fish (USA)

I wouldn't be so sure about Kvitova. Kirilenko and her are pretty even usually, and if Kiri is playing well enough to beat Radwanska, I see her winning it. I can't wait for the matches today though. Tons of good ones!

You have a choice onTennistv.com (although it is a paid subscription). I have it and it gives you more choices than just having the tennis channel,

I'll be nervous when Roger plays Stan. I like Stan but not when he plays Roger. And normally I don't pull for Rafa but I'm tired of Gulbis' mouth! He has been talking a lot of trash lately. Some folks might like it - but I don't.

I hate watching Fed/Wawa as much as I hate watching Djokovic vs. other Serbs. Wawrinka does have weapons to challenge Fed but he is mentally challenged when it comes to this match up.

Gulbis/Nadal is the match that has a great potential. really looking forward to this one.

I'm surprised that Murray is not on the CC (stadium 1)

women - not interested at all, couldn't care less. they just destruct me from watching real tennis (men) ... I hate these combined events  :\

Point taken, Rafa816.  As I said, I'm hopeless at meaningful predictions!   :)

I can at last watch some tennis now - Simon/Anderson.  KA up a set & going with serve, although he is under pressure on serve.

And  GS breaks via a net cord that dropped on the other side. Holds serve & breaks via a poor service game by KA.  I think this is bye-bye to this set so, for no good reason other than poor play, especially on the serve, by KA, it will go to a 3rd set.  This is not entertaining tennis.

well, Simon/Anderson is not really a blockbuster either. It doesn't really matter, it's just my feeling that Murray still doesn't get much respect.
