The way they move and anticipate is RIDICULOUS!
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg

Gotta love those 30 shot rallies, because the 2 fittest players on tour can't play a lick of tennis to finish a best of 3 sets match!!

That's what happens when 2 roadrunners play each other.  Neither can get a ball past the other and neither will come to the net, no matter what!  Oh for the days of Rafter, Sampras, Cash or a young Federer.

Long, physical rallies! So great for tennis! That's 9 breaks in the last 10 service games. And it's not so much the breaks, they're just :paper bag:  Awful!!

They can't find the court, and they're not even close!

Great comment by Mary: "this is more like women's tennis."   :rofl_2:

Mary's comparing it to women's tennis, now, with all the breaks and errors.

As I recall, Rafter was a hell of a physical player. He just wasn't mindless.

When Rafter was at the net, you couldn't get a ball past him; you had to hope he missed a volley or overhead.

Ferrer is cramping.

Nerves creep in when you're too tired to play your game. The funny thing is, they both hit the wall at the same time  :rofl_2: :rofl_2: :rofl_2:

Seriously, if there ever was a case to be made for why long rallied, "gladiator" tennis is bad for the game, here's your case study.

2 1/2 hours in and it finally occurs to Murray to approach the net and shorten the points. But wait, he has no net game!

To each his own I guess, but this is just boring the hell out of me. Murray looking like a tired dog in a match of 3 sets.(but running like a cat afterwards)  :)~
No wonder why this is not meant to last for long. All these defensive players will retire before they reach 30 years of age..

When 2 of the fittest players on tour finish a match playing fatigued and timid, start questioning the direction of the sport.
