Tommy if you lose today to that little feminine guy, I'll jump off my balcony. Don't worry guys I leave on the first floor  :rofl_2:

I like Haas but I like Ferrer too.  Both are in their 30's so they are from Roger's era.  I always try to pull for those players.

And Alex...first you're going to wear my red high heel shoes, now you're going to jump from your balcony!  I can't wait to hear what's next on your agenda! :rofl_2:
I'll come up with something else  . let me think for a while. thinking is not easy nowadays.

when is Stan playing?

Kei Nishikori played pretty well and beat a rusty Roger Federer.

Federer had a bad day at the office today. Many shanks, balls spraying just out, especially in the first set.  In the second set Roger raised his level and played with much better timing and variety, using the drop shot very well.  Then there was a relatively long delay starting the third set due to watering the court. It was rather strange and Federer complained that it was taking too long.  They got back on the court and his momentum interrupted, Federer again was mistiming the ball. Then is 1st serve left him, and he was putting his usually reliable block returns into the net and it was pretty much over. Nishikori broke Federer once and that was all Kei needed as he played confidently to finish out the set and match.

Well done Kei, and congrats to Nishikori fans.
Condolences to the Federer fans.  He obviously needs more match play.

Respectfully,

I like both guys too. I prefer Tommy's playing style but a player of Ferrer's size needs to have good defensive abilities to succeed. And Ferrer is one of the nicest and humblest guys on tour.

Grunting of any sort on a regular basis is nothing short of gamesmanship.  I'm not a big fan of grinders and the grunting is tough to take, but David is one of those players that makes the most of what talent he has.  Kudos to him for that.

Nice to see Tommy taking it to a top ten player.
Keep up the good work!

I'm not sure if it even qualifies as a grunt.
Sounds more like the caw of annoying bird.

As you may have guessed, I'm not a big fan of any extra noise during play whether it be a shriek or a grunt.  But enough of my whinning..... :zipped:
CONK da ball!!!
