The Swiss Indoors at Basel has announced that Roger Federer has committed to playing in 2013 edition of the tournament and Federer has added the tournament to his 2013 schedule.

After months of speculation amid reports of a contract dispute between the Swiss Indoors president Roger Brennwald, Federer's agent Tony Godsick and Federer that might have lead the Swiss to miss his home tournament, Roger Federer has cut through the icy dialog and rumours that he is holding the tournament hostage over a money dispute.

Federer said that he doesn't have a contract or appearance agreement to play in Basel and doesn't need one. He said, "I play when I feel like it."  "Everyone knows how much this means to me here...I have experienced many memorable moments in this unique atmosphere with great fans, and I am extremely happy that I will be able to experience it this year".  "For me it was always clear: I will play the Swiss Indoors 2013."

More like it's an indoor hard court, so he's almost guaranteed to win  :)~

Rafa is the FIRST to qualify for WTF this year! :D

This means Paris is more than questionable, unless he should at that stage still not be qualified for the WTF. Playing three weeks in a row is not Federer's style.
