I will give you a break general alex. what do you want your broken?

how about your nose?

 :)) :))

dynamitrov has a huge upside. he will get there sooner or later. he has to take his fitness to the next level. that is priority #1 for him.

nose it is I guess, although I'll break your arm . well, if we get drunk enough we can hug  :)~

the problem is that these young guys are so clueless on clay (or any other surfaces). Nole and Rafa with broken legs and arms would simply destroy them. however they can't even get to Nole or Rafa because they keep losing so early. I really want them to succeed. we need some fresh blood. sorry to say this but they are all idiots. I wasn't able to see all matches but I just found some on you tube (highlights). Dimitrov wasn't as bad as Tomic, but still  :\...

Is that clown Janowitcz playing? I need to check it out.

Ferrer is on the decline. He is 31 years old and makes a lot more errors than he used to, so no surprise. Tsonga IMO is currently the  5th best player in the world.

General CD, I don't think the problem is Tomic's inconsistence. I think simply he does not want it enough. He does not want to try for every ball because then he would not look "effortless"  ..-) on court. Losing to Monaco on clay is no shame, but getting bageled more than any other player is.

If Tomic never scored another point in his pro career, I wouldn't feel sorry for him. He's an arrogant prick who deserves to get bageled more than any other player :)

Rafa is the FIRST to qualify for WTF this year! :D

20. When Nadal was 20, he already had 2 slams under his belt and wasn't in any way whatsoever anywhere remotely close to as cocky as that Australian douche.

Rafa is the FIRST to qualify for WTF this year! :D

As for today's results, I rather like the "young hopefuls" being beaten by the doddering old men.  :)
I would be very pleased if one of the "no hopers" took this title.  Let's have some change to the script!

Anyway, some potentially interesting matches tomorrow - Gulbis / Raonic & Klizan / Kohlshreiber for example.

Raonic Gulbis should be good.

But Berdych is more steady which is why he's ranked above Tsonga, and rightfully so. Wow, Delpo is primed to overtake Berdych.

http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/Barcelona+Spain+SPXX0015 There is a lot of rain in Barcelona so that is why there have not been many matches.  :)

Tsonga has been the better player this year though.

This tournament is a bit of a shambles due to the weather delays.
I see Raonic beat Gulbis in straight sets & is through. Robredo has obviously found better form of late & I'm pleased to note he beat Berdych.  Nice to see Kohlschreiber having a good run thus far.

just watching Almagro / Monaco. Almagro holds to go 4-4 in the second set, despite break points for Monaco. Almagro is a set up, 6-3.

Almagro won, as expected (at least by me). I believe he will win against Kohli also, only to lose against Nadal in the final.

Will be interesting to see if Robredo kan beat Raonic. That match is currently 5 all in the 1st set.

I think a good effort for Robredo to play two long matches in the same day. Evidently he is not having any injury problems anymore. So many Boredo haters on MTF  :rofl_2: :rofl_2: stay mad

Robredo stayed with Raonic until the end but lost the 3rd set breaker. Can't say if they played well - the match wasn't streamed, which is embarrasing for court 2 on an ATP500.

Both matches still to be started in Barcelona.

I think the only sensible thing to do would be playing semis simultaneously on two courts like Wimbledon did in 2007, not like USO did last year. Otherwise there's a risk one semi is finished today, another not even started.

ah. Raonic Smaonic getting baggled in the second set, I feel like crying right now. Nadal spanked his ass so hard that Milos won't be able to walk next few weeks.

Gee, what is wrong with these 'youngsters' (you all know who they are btw). how can they be so clueless? Clay is a huge mystery for them ... well, not that they can even play on HC  ..-). For God's sake 18 yo  Djokovic was able to win a set against mighty Fed back in 2006  on clay (Rome I think)...

I didn't expect Raonic to win  but at least  to play a competitive match. whatever.
