We were almost there too, General. But you didn't trust Granollers, and I didn't trust Dolgopolov.

R3

Berdych
Ferrer

Berdych
Nadal
Del Potro
Dimitrov

I got slaughtered yesterday as well.  The form of these slightly lower ranked players does not hold from one week to the next.
It's basically a crap shoot.  Definitely unexpected results for me.  Oh well... :)   Last week none of the top 4 made it to the SF in Madrid.

Thank you John.  :))  Maybe more by luck than good judgement with a couple of choices. But I'll take that! Lol!

As John said, it's often some form of a lottery as to whether the form of lesser ranked players holds up, and you might as well toss a coin whilst making your choices. Let's hope for better things for you today Samson!  :))

And I came down to earth with only 50% yesterday. Would've been much worse had my last 3 choices of the day lost. But I can't complain. And there are also some tricky looking matches on the menu today...But I hope you see better results today John.  :))

Thank you Samson.  :)) Although Nirjhor and Dylan are hot on my heels and others are not too far behind them either, so it could all easily change very quickly. :) I'm hanging on a bit here I think. Lol!

Thanks, General.

On the other hand, MC. We're kinda screwed here. Delpo got shocked, and Nadal may be next. :rofl_2:

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed in this competition we very often have an early leader with a black (eliminated) winner?
