Wanted to go to Rome last year but Madrid is sooooo much cheaper. Madrid was a pleasant surprise, I must admit. Still haven't been to Rome.
not sure if you are referring to cities or tennis tournaments. I haven't been to either tournament. just holidays. I've never been in Madrid. maybe one day. However, Rome is an amazing city. If you could afford it, GO. so much history. amazing cathedrals, museums, oh boy, everyone dresses so well, I felt like Canadian white trash there  ..-) ... last time I was there I spent so much money but it was totally worth it. food, mama mia ... I put on weight like 5/6 lbs during 2 weeks.

Yeah Rome is a must visit place. Just too many tourists.

Meanwhile Youzhny beat Tommy hard 6-4 6-3. Pretty bad day fro Tommy tennis wise. Couldn't execute anything...

Three tournaments in a row might be a bit too much at 35. Nothing to worry about, 2 weeks' rest before the French Open will do him good. I even wonder he he couldn't care less . Just complying with ATP commitments .

in my estimation at least, tommy should just concentrate on his singles.

there will be time enough for doubles.

Yeah he's having pretty tight schedule and many matches during weeks. That's why I'm not too down-hearted after this loss.
I kinda wished he would have 2 week break before RG, but he's already in Dusseldorf next week  :ZZZZZ)
Young boy Tommy playing week after week both singles and doubles.  :rofl_2:
Hopefully he knows the best  ://

I see Caroline lost AGAIN. She's dropping faster than lightening!

Uh...Stan is down a set! Bummer!

I am watching Novak on television; Warwinka on my laptop; and just finished watching Sloane on my iPhone!

So happy for Richie and disappointed with Dimitrov at the same time. I don't know what to think any more about Gasqet.

Watched the replay of Fed-Starace. Short match, but splendid display of tennis. Loved the final game- 3 winners and an ace.  ;-()

Yes, Roger looked good.  But it's still early and he wasn't playing a 'top' player.  But at this point in his career - any win is a good win! :))  I'm happy that all my favorites won!!!!!!

I've never heard that expression before. I don't know it that's because you're really old or you've been hanging out with the kids.

Tsonga and Murray out. I only caught a little of Murray's match at the end. I didn't see anything physically wrong with him. He won the 2nd set and the next thing I knew -- he was retiring? What happened?
