Troicki has an ugly-ass game, but what a character. Kinda like Roddick.
Janowicz is just perfect  :)
Montaņes, Hewitt, Ferrer, Davydenko, Tipsarevic, Haas, Rochus, Becker, Melzer, Monaco, Granollers, Benneteau

After a surprising day yesterday, so far everything is going after schedule today. Easy win for Djoker against the Dog, and a predictable 8th win in a row for Berdych against Anderson. Del Potro next up against Paire.

Maybe player forum stuff but DelPo met his countryman Pope Francis at the Vatican on Wednesday.

wow, DP lost. Kudos to Paire. I didn't see the math so can't really comment. Gulbis 2 breaks up against Rafa 4:0, crazy stuff ...

DelPo goes down, damn.  :)>>>>

But Paire played some varied tennis, a very nice match from him.

Gulbis is ripping Nadal, just too much power but the match isn't over.

ok, he is one of the most idiot player I have ever saw. Why you keep thinking Nadal defensive lob is going to out? Then three defensive lob all on the line in one game, and Gulbis hit ball in hurry.

And this dude breaks back immediately. I haven't see player can break Nadal immediately after lose a tie game for a long time.

Gulbis goes down.  :(

Nadal is playing some very good tennis. Movement is very good which bodes well.

Gulbis will be unhappy, he could hit thru the court almost easily but the error count went up too high.

Gulbis had 97 points , Nadal 94.

He learned a lot, some silly shots. Some drop shots he had open court and hitting too hard when he didn't need to at times.
But he never gave up at all, very important.

Serena wins!!!!!
Victoria wins!!!!!
Stan pulled out yesterday :(

Roger plays tonight.  Go Roger!

OK...why are there not any WTA matches shown on Tennis Channel for this event?  Do they not have a contract or something?  Anyway, I watched the Nadal match on television (and Serena's match on my lap top).  I knew if Gulbis didn't win that 2nd set he would lose the match.  That's the way it is with these lower ranked players playing a top player.  They have hope....but if it goes down the wire -- the better player usually prevails.  Gulbis had the game plan but he couldn't sustain it.  Great come back by Nadal after getting blitzed in that first set.

Roger's match with Simon could also be tricky.  The H2H is 2-2.  Simon is one of those players that just gives Roger fits!  I hope he can come through.
