Jerzy, what an entertaining game  :)), although a really obnoxious attitude. I half expected him to rip his shirt off.

Fed starts very well against Simon, up 4-2. He is really destroying Gilles with his variety.

I've been waiting for the first Fed vs Jerzy/Dimitrov matches. Finally one is happening.
Then we will fight in the shade.

Fed was simply amazing. Good to watch him, especially when he's on.

Well, I do not see how Jerzy's game translates to clay so his success he is shocking to me; I think he's just a fair player, nothing special.

6-1 set to Gulbis would have been interesting to watch.

Good on Paire for a big win over Delpo!

Jerzy has big weakness, his backhand. His backhand is very weak compare to his forehand.

Cool sig?

I will make you a cool looking sig tomorrow if you can tell me about some of the players you like.

take a look at babb`s sig for example. see how he is able to show the world the players he represents and supports.

either send me a PM about your players or you can stop by the castle tomorrow evening.

I will be glad to make you an astonishing sig.
sigs add a whole new dimension to our forum. they add color, character, energy, and emotion to the forum.

Interesting win for Nadal. Gah, I hate that Gulbis kid. Such a cocky douche. He can really thump the ball, though.

Interesting that Murray just so happens to retire from the tournament before RG and now he can't play RG, making Nadal the 4th seed  :ninja:

Rafa is the FIRST to qualify for WTF this year! :D

I believe Murray's withdrawal is not confirmed yet, but it certainly looks like he'll be missing the tournament. Too bad for him, but it would put an end to the potential QF drama. Main interest of the draw would then be whether Nadal ends up on Djokovic's half or Federer's half.

nole looks strong as hell. I cant see anybody stopping him here.

he took monte carlo away from nadal and now he will take rome away from him too.

Looks like he can't even beat Berdych, let alone take the title from Rafa.

Gulbis is just coming back from a partying life a few months ago and getting better by the tournament.
Taking the best ever on clay to the end was a great feat.

Djokovic loses, had the match but was at about 70% only and seemed to play safe.
Then couldn't get back his earlier form.
I expected Berdych to get too nervous, he was but held on with an excellent serve.

Gulbis was coming out firing and hitting his shots from the back of the court, not easy to do.
His serve is in the mid to upper 130's too.

He started missing his bombs later and was impatient instead of waiting for better shots.
Nadal moved very well but seemed uncertain where Gulbis was hitting, Gulbis has a strange FH stance that is hard to read where he's going with it.

Gulbis will get more fit and have less errors with practice.

He's a very good mover and has enough power to hit through anyone.
The way he moves you wouldn't believe he's 6'8".

What else do you want to know?   :rofl_2:
