Nole is an idiot. he got too cocky expecting that Berdych was gonna bend over again. It's too bad, too sad he didn't. Congats to Berdych, great effort.

you are world #1, you win the first set easily 6:2, you lead 5:3 in the second set serving for the match and then you get stupid ...  ..-). anyway, Kudos to Berdych.

haha... I actually stopped watching the match at 5:3 second set.. I was pretty sure the match was over.. just came back and saw this surprise.. I can safely say that Djokovic threw the match away, no way Berdych would have won if Djokovic didn't threw the match away.. probably too scared for a Rafa SF?? LOL.. just kidding..

Anyway, how about Nadal vs. Gulbis? 49 winners against Nadal's 17.. that's just sick!! I think Gulbis lacked intelligence.. even if Rafa is a great player with a never say die attitude, Gulbis should have noticed how Nadal adjusted and started playing 30 feet back from the baseline and combine his game... Anyway, this is why I don't like clay whatsoever... Nadal just playing from the stands (that way back was he) and just looking for UFEs and mistakes.. not doing anything for winners whatsoever... But, that's clay................z...z.zzzz.......

Anyway, watching right now Nadal vs. Ferrer, is so damn boring.... 2 pushovers at clay?? Im falling asleep, not to mention taht Ferrer is just Nadal's b**ch... he is winning the second set 4:0 Ferrer to serve and I can say: "somehow, Nadal will win the set.. or get to a third and win it easily"... I hope I am proven wrong.. but seriously.. tooo damn boring.. grinding, grinding, grinding...

LOOOOOOOL.... just hilarious!! Ferrer just had set point and ended up losing the game.. 5:4 Ferrer... WOW, what a surprise!!!! LOOOOL.... Why doesn't just Ferrer bend over and get it over with??? This is just ridiculous!!! Ferrer is just a clown when it comes to playing Nadal.. Actually him and every other spaniard playing Nadal... lame...

Ferrer actually managed to win the 2nd, despite losing his double break. 1-1 in the 3rd now. Ferrer had chances to break to 2-0, but are now in trouble on his own serve...

Well, I do not see how Jerzy's game translates to clay so his success he is shocking to me; I think he's just a fair player, nothing special.

6-1 set to Gulbis would have been interesting to watch.

Good on Paire for a big win over Delpo!

He's a very good mover and has enough power to hit through anyone.
The way he moves you wouldn't believe he's 6'8".

What else do you want to know?   :rofl_2:

That's all dandy, and I would think it would help him on fast surfaces. In 2013, his results haven't been special. I haven't seen him on clay but my guess is he's had a nice draw, no grinders, enabling him to keep the points short.

roger is not exactly a "grinder" either, so this also might help his opponent. I just hope Roger takes care of business. It's always difficult when paying someone for the first time.

Started watching Fed-Jan at 2-1 2nd set. Is this Wimbledon circa 1990? Steady diet of 3 shot rallies (as I suspected).

Jan is who I thought he was.

Hahaha!!!

I would say some of Jan's ROS are Roddick-like if only they were a lot better.

6-5 Fed

Point of the match! Wimbledon 1990-esque. 3 or 4 vollies. Lol

4-2 Fed

Fed ultimately picks on that weak wing to finish him off. Very easy TB.

Jan's BH will be his undoing. This kid reminds me of a young Roddick. Eventually the tour will neutralize the power and you're left exposed with a weak BH and ROS.

Quite entertaining match to watch, but the kid made way too many errors to be expected to win. I loved that he tried his best though. His serve is deadly. I don't think even Raonic can match it.

Top ten material.

Or are still waiting for Ferrer to win a slam?  :rofl_2:

Lets see what Fed says in his presser.

Good match by Roger. People talk about "the kid's" serve but as usual, when Roger plays these big servers, his serve is more effective. Roger had 11 aces to 5. And zero double faults to 4. Rogers's first serve percentage was 76% to his 60%.
