....Stosur smackin' JJ around. :))
Good!  I'll take a look at this one. I have little time for JJ, so hope SS can get the win here.

I've looked & it is very balanced - a set each to 6-3 & 4-4 in the 3rd set.  Come on SS!

SW broke JJ who is serving 2-4 down.

And Isner broke back! It is 5-5 in the 5th set!  Time to tango, Haas - come on!

EDIT  -   Haas hits a beautiful drop shot & serves an ace to take it to 6-6.

 :))

Good serving by Haas to take it to 7-7.  I wonder who'll break first?  I think Haas.
Isner has played an imaginative, using a soft touch to play drop shots & hitting some clean winners too.

This could be one of those awesome matches where I'll scream out of joy or break something against the wall.

Jerzy makes a lot of poor decisions, I just hope he can learn mistakes.

He doing better on that but did make silly errors.
Hitting so hard when the shot isn't there, I'm pretty happy with his progress.

Djokovic serving up a tennis lesson.

Haas still fighting.

I am just glad that it is only his 64-65 matches on ATP main draw and he is 22 years old only.

:))  I empathise, Lugburz!   But Haas just broke!!!  Can he hold?  Nice crowd support for Haas.

Wawrinka won it in 4 sets.

And Stosur lost too!

Looool!  No need!!  TH just won 10-8 in the 5th match.  Well done to him!
But I must admit I feel for Isner who won against the odds yesterday in a really brave & determined effort against Harrison, and then played with such heart here today. He did all he could - good man.
A great big "phew!"  Lugburz,  folowed by cartwheels of joy, no doubt!  :)

Djokovic / Dimitrov turned out to be a damp squib, with ND sailing through majestically without much opposition from GD.

I like his game too, Williamchung.

I hope Djokovic is okay - he's having his right arm treated by the looks of it.  And he's resumed play to take the 3rd set to 5-3.  I'd say the fat lady will be singing soon.

I'm off! Goodnight all!   :)

It's just his first year on the tour and slowly getting rid of some poor decisions on shots.
Getting a little more consistent too but still too many ups and downs.
Good tournament for him and I'm sure he learned from it, has some video to review I imagine.  :)

I was thinking about you the whole time. Good win for Haas but tough loss for Isner. It stopped being entertaining and interesting after the 4th set. Isner served 27 aces and had 92 winners with 50 something errors. Haas had 85 winner and 40 something errors and 15 aces. Very close match.

It's about time RG introduces final set TB as well. I find it horrible to watch a match like this when it goes to distance. Quality tends to dip and then it becomes more of a physical game which I hate.

6-2, 6-2, 6-3 win by Nole. I always thought his loss to Dimitrov in Madrid was a deliberate one; just like I thought his lost to Berdych in Rome was another one.
