Definitely DO NOT shave your legs, I love the hairy Euro look!

I soo miss Blake and his tennis.
I wonder if he can resurrect his career ala Tommy Haas or will he just fold up the chairs and go him?

I hope you're having a good day and enjoying the tennis Alex. ://

I'm OK MT, thanks.
Unfortunately, Troicki def. Blake in 3 sets. I hoped that Blake could do more but Victor was too good for him today.

Urszula/Venus is turning out to be a very entertaining match. Venus won the second set, coming down from 0:4 in a tie break. high quality of tennis. I don't watch the WTA matches that often any more but this one is really good.

Venus lost  :(. However, kudos to Urszula Radwanska, she played out of her mind. Great match btw. I really enjoyed it.

Well 2 of my favorites won today...Federer and Serena!  Too bad for Venus. She tried to come back.

Clay season and RG have always been my least favourite season and Slam and the fact that, a few key players out of RG already, it's not generating even half the interest I have for tennis.

Having said that, I am pulling for Nole big time to win this title. My 2nd favourite is Berdcyh. Other than that, anyone but Nadal and Federer.
You are everything I am not.

Monstertruck, Blake said afterwards that he was physically feeling great and that he was not planning on retiring any time soon.  He will go home and get ready for Eastbourne on hard courts in the US (!) then fly to Eastbourne a few days early and practice a bit on grass.

Well, Roger and Serena wins.  But Venus and Blake lost.

Goes to show how much people are NOT interested in the women's game....No one said anything about the upset win of Puig (who?) over Petrova (#11 seed).

Some 'interesting' matches tomorrow MIGHT be:

Berdych vs Monfils (but I don't really expect Monfils to do anything.  It's just that he seem to play better in the early rounds at the French Open, being French...but I don't think he'll take a set)

Nadal v Brands (just to see how many games that Brands might win) :rofl_2:

Wozniacki vs Robson....How far can Caroline drop?

Sstephens vs Knapp (can Stephens get her 'act' back together?)

hm, doubt it. probably 3. The sisters plus Sharapova and that's it. My friends who watch tennis casually or don't watch it at all know only about the sisters and Maria. if you mention, like Azarenka, they  go 'huh'.

forget dimitrov and forget everyone for this event........this grandslam has always been only about nadal, it will remain that way this year and next year as well........

Rational comment based on the player who has won 7 of the last 8 RG titles and has easily been the most impressive leading into RG with wins in Barcelona, Madrid and Rome, obviously MC can cast some doubts.

I dunno. Monfils looks to be back to his form back when he was Top 10 material. I don't think he'll win, but I think he could take a set. Maybe even two. But that could just be because I despise Berdych :P

I'm guessing...4 at most :D

I dunno who to pull for in this one. I used to pull for Wozniacki, but she's fallen so far, I hardly care anymore. I like Robson, though. She's cute, seems really nice, and seems to have a ton of potential.

Ryan Harrison also plays tomorrow. I hope he does well!

Rafa is the FIRST to qualify for WTF this year! :D

I actually listened to this match while cooking in the kitchen.  It sure sounded entertaining.  Venus looked like an absolute Goddess!  Too bad she didn't have the goods on this particular day. :(

Nice to hear you had an ok day Alex.
Hopefully all the great tennis at RG will provide some distraction for you. ://

Good news that! :))

I saw the end of the match but not the post match interviews.
There seemed to be some talk amongst the commentators that this might be his 'last chance to smell the roses' at RG.  Indicating to me that there was some speculation about his retiring this year.  Nice to hear that talk was probably just fluff.

He is/was one of our (me & The Chief) favorite players to watch and though I don't see him contending for slams, his style of play is entertainging to watch when he is on.  And he seems to be a class act.

Go James!

Agreed.
As much as I like Simon, it would have been nice to see Hewitt go a few more rounds. :(
