Rafa seems very happy with his life the way it is. Don't know what's stopping him but his tennis has been horrendous. It's a shame.

I think he got tired of working so hard. he had been doing it ever since he was a little kid.

he let some things go after 2010. he probably felt there was nobody to really challenge him after 2010.

and before you knew it, he was way the hell behind the curve.

Nadal played at his best all the way to 2012 RG.
I thought he was a little better in 2011 than 2010 actually.

I don't think Nadal has ever missed the clay season and has always done very well there despite his bad knee.

And Federer was at his best all the way to 2012 while achieving the #1 ranking. I actually thought he was better a couple weeks ago at Rome when Nadal barely beat him

Nadal on a wheelchair on CLAY will still find a way to win.
Then we will fight in the shade.

I think you missed the sarcasm. Let me make it bold for you!

Also Swish's previous remark was classic!

A Nadal/Federer final will be again one of the worsts in history. Hopefully that won't be the case this time.

Maybe we'll get novak/tsonga......that would be a good final.

Ferrer/Nadal would be fun for me IF Ferrer can play like he did a couple weeks ago

Nole/Tsonga would be incredible and they have a history too though Nole is too good on clay.

I'd be happy for Ferrer if he gets the title.

Looks like I'll be missing Nole/Nadal semi which is more than likely. Both have very weak opponents next.

I want to but my boss knows me too well and knows I take my vacation around tennis. She's even giving me some tickets to Montreal. I wonder if I should take the day off this Friday.

too bad!   I will coming back from a business trip Thursday night.......it's natural to only get sick Friday morning  :innocent:

Take the day off if Nadal's game improve; if not you will not miss anything but a straight set demolition at the hands of Novak.
