You speak in half-truths Slashmaster.
Surely he did some good stuff.
Yes, there was plenty of color as well.

Personally, I prefer tennis talk.
Quite often the 'color' that you speak of got in the way of that.
I tolerated it much better this time around and would do so in the future.

All that being said, the forum is still here and will be what we choose to make of it. :)

CD isn't banned so he can do what he wants.

It's a shame about the posts deleted, some would like to go back and review selected areas at times.

CD enjoyed months of talk about various subjects and tennis so he benefitted in that way.
He also mentioned he's being asked to be a mod in 4 places so has plenty to look foreward to.

We lost a lot of posters with the "Start the Game" fiasco.
Posters rarely leave when there are forum fights, but they will leave when the moderator is out of control and turns on people at will.

All the images: I didn't care for them at all and have told CD. But he liked them and some others did too so not a big deal.

CD tried to tie me in or group me with Start the Game and recently Alex as trying to destroy the forum.
This was very poor character, prompted by my remarks about Nadal cheating and not having career statistics close to Federer I would guess.

I forgave him with Start the Game but now again he tried it with Alex.

So there's a pattern and no forgiveness, it will stay that way.

Maybe he can find some peace elsewhere.

I'm seriously tired talking/writing pm's for the past few days about this situation.
Herc is a good guy that is driven by his emotions so in a rush he removed/not deleted his threads. He said he'd never do that.
He found a happy place elswhere and left in good manner. So Let's just leave is it is.

Anyway we all know Alex for a long time, but this time he deserved ban pretty much. He crossed a line few times and even I was shocked as one of those who liked his sense of humor. Hopefully old Alex will come back.

We all move on from now on. ..-)

Spreading some love!!!  :))

Yeah I understand that, but then again there wasn't many activity during 'their' time.
Especially not in small events that are not slams or masters.

I might have missed it if they said goodbyes or so...
Apparently you missed out on '08 & '09......
Check the stats.
Plenty of quality activity back then.
Not the repetitive smiley posts and jibberish just for the sake of raising post counts and falsifying stats.

I remember having T4U as my homepage during those days...

Funny you should pop in, as I saw my first pergrine falcon in flight just a couple weeks ago.  My friends think I'm a dork because of my fascination with raptors and sighting a new one.  Perhaps they are right, but I don't care. :))

I spotted a massive eagle right in front of my office yesterday  :)) Falcons can go upto amazing speeds. We are yet to build an aeroplane that mimics the fight operations of this beauty perfectly.

Who the heck is gonna miss 40K posts of  :)) :)) and ugly photoshop?
He was the epitome of quantity over quality.

One Alex is worth a thousand CDs.
Even if he does go bonkers once in awhile.

Now let's get back to talking tennis and having fun.
Enjoy your stay at the Funny Farm Alex.
Let us know when your brain unscrambles. ;-()

And that is the epitome of the internet. If you treat someone nicely, no matter the style you use, you expose yourself to being hated by a thousand others. Sure, your aims are good, but people can't wait to dance on your grave if you're not exactly to their liking, no matter how nice you behave to them. Give them a beer, they will give you back a slap on your face. CD never had an army of generals, dear Monstertruck, just a few friends who just said they were his friends, and a few others who were too busy at the time to respond. Pity he didn't have the patience to wait for them, otherwise this grave dancing would not be happening right now. Just how the internet works, folks, some people suffer because of it, some people just move on.

Among those aprox. 37500 posts were many posts containing tennis analysis far more accurate than you or I would ever post in 1000 years, belonging to Masterclass. Pity they are lost, they were part of the history of recent events, and they were beautifully written. I hold this error in judgment as the sole mistake CD has made. The rest were all good intentions clearly used as an opportunity to hurt by those wanting to get rid of him.

But that is all... All in the past for now. Unless he wants to return that is...
