Order of play, June 25th
http://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/scores/schedule/index.html

It's interesting that they put Murray/Lu on court 1. I thought Murray would be on CC for sure. However, the Tsonga/Gulbis match  deserves to be on CC. I expect lots of drama in that match.

I'm surprised to.  I thought for sure they would put Roger on Court 1 and put Murray on Center Court...but I guess being champion has some perks? ;-()

Gulbis needs to have a good tournament, he's been talking too much.
But it should be a good match for that reason.

You actually have a point there!  That's one match I would NOT want to be sitting near!  The Sharapova vs Victoria matches have NOTHING on this match.  People who make ear plugs could make a fortune selling them! :rofl_2:

What happened to Isner?
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg

There has been a lot of injury retirements today:

Isner said he felt something in his knee when he served;
Darcis said he hurt his shoulder when he hit the deck in his match with Nadal;
Victoria said she wasn't 'right' from her fall in the first round
Stepanek had an upper left thigh injury
Cilic retired before he even took the court

Wozniacki fell in her match but is still playing (although she lost the first sete and is down a break in the 2nd)

If it's a matter of player safety, we could see a change. Raonic ended his season a couple of years back with a slip and Monfils won't play. Too dangerous for him. Ferrer rolled around like Azarenka twice. I'd like to know why the 3 retired today. Oprandi was crying clutching her hand. I don't know if she broke a fall. An unusual injury.

It's just too damn dangerous to run side to side and change direction. It happens every year now-Wimbledon's dirty little secret. If they have a special formula to favor grass court players, they might as well return it to a surface that favors (specialists).
