Bizarre. Since when does Wimbledon honor the rankings?

Ferrer will be out by the third round.

Janowicz

Receiving points won   41 of 107 = 38 %

Is that good??? Not that he has to be good in this section to sleepwalk into the semis.

I just found this joke about Canadians/Americans. it's hilarious  :rofl_2:

"In a train car there were a Canadian, an American, a spectacular looking blonde and a frightfully awful looking fat lady. After several minutes of the trip the train happens to pass through a dark tunnel, and the unmistakable sound of a slap is heard. When they leave the tunnel, the American had a big red slap mark on his cheek.

The blonde thought - "That American son of a b**ch wanted to touch me and by mistake, he must have put his hand on the fat lady, who in turn must have slapped his face"

The fat lady thought - "This dirty old American laid his hands on the blonde and she smacked him".

The American thought - "That fecking Canadian put his hand on that blonde and by mistake she slapped me".

The Canadian thought - "I hope there's another tunnel soon so I can smack that stupid American again"."

Any specific reason why you posted this joke on this thread? I can post one if it's in at the moment.

the only reason I posted it here is that more people will be able to see it ... all matches cancelled, so it's not a big deal  :))

Here's one from me:

------------------------------------------------------------

he phone rings and the lady of the house answers,

"Hello."

"Mrs. Sanders, please."

"Speaking."

"Mrs. Sanders, this is Doctor Jones at Saint Agnes Laboratory.
When your husband's doctor sent his biopsy to the lab last week, a biopsy from another Mr. Sanders arrived as well. We are now uncertain which one belongs to your husband. Frankly, either way the results are not too good."

"What do you mean?" Mrs. Sanders asks nervously.

"Well, one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimer's and the other one tested positive for HIV. We can't tell which is which."

"That's dreadful! Can you do the test again?" questioned Mrs.Sanders.

"Normally we can, but MEDICARE will only pay for these expensive tests once."

"Well, what am I supposed to do now?"

"The MEDICARE Helpdesk recommend that you drop your husband off somewhere in the middle of town. If he finds his way home, don't sleep with him."
You are everything I am not.

go figure, Babs is American ... he doesn't understand how much classier Canadians are than our Southern neighbor  :wicked: ::))).

btw, I'm so happy they scheduled the Gasquet vs. Tomic match on CC, while both Berdych and Ferrer are on C1.

Gasquet and Tomic match has more potential. Berdych will probably straight set Anderson. Ferrer I don't care. lol

Babs, I wasn't able to open your link, it didn't work out but I went to you tube and found it there. Really good stuff  :thumbs-up:.
Money Boo Boo - The Canadian Banking System - The Daily Show with Jon Stewart - 06/24/13

It's probably hard to get it if you don't live in North America ... if you do and think about it, it's good and funny  :)

I really like the guy personally.

He works so hard on and off the court, doesn't really say too much or start trouble.
But he is relatively ignored, can beat most players under him but has a terrible time with the top players.

He should get some appreciation if only for the way he tries his best on the court.

And he likes dogs!!!!!!!!!   :king:

Swish, I think his a wonderful guy and I do love his personality. He is probably the biggest over achiever in tennis. It's just that his game style does very little for me plus he gets clueless when he has to play Nole, Rafa or Fed.
