Tommy loses...Serena loses....gee!!! I'm scared to root for Sloan! Glad Tomic is out but I don't like Berdych either! Lol

Sorry Lug, but Nole, with that exceptional ROS and defense, was a little bit better player today. Match was closer than the result might be suggesting. I was too nervous right till the end ...

Did anybody watch the Berdych/Tomic match? I'm wondering how is Berdych playing atm.

Djokovic beat the last credible threat today. The title is his.
Then we will fight in the shade.

Yep this is true.
Meh I'm still proud, the match was closer than it looked on the scoreboard, bar the 1st set though  :)~

I'm happy for you bud, and gratz to the rest of his fans here, I know they are polite here  :))

Murray? Berdych? Both of whom have beaten Djokovic the last time they played him on Grass. Murray at the Olympics and Berdych in 2010 Wimbledon (in the semis if I'm not wrong).

Also, if Novak does make it to the final having gone through Haas, Berdych and potentially Del Potro, I think he'll be in better position than Murray who's had relatively weaker opponents, strongest of them on grass being Youzhny and potentially Janowicz.

I spent three memorable days at Wimbledon last week - seeds tumbling all over the place.  And it seems the tournament continues to throw up surprises, with S. Williams out too, today.  I wouldn't have guessed the current QF's line up for both the men & women at the start of the tournament, although Djokovic & Murray were the strongest contenders from the start & have remained so.
I'd say iIt is one of the most interesting GS's we have had in a long time - how unexpected to see Kubot / Kanowicz / Verdasco as quarter finalists!

Will there be yet more upsets, one wonders?  I hope so !   :)  But I expect Djokovic or Murray to lift the trophy & I pick Murray as the champion here.

I've never had a problem with Berdych but I've grown to appreciate him over time. I'm not a Tomic hater, either. Fun match.

Lukasz Kubot making the QF helps him quite a bit, he's gone from 130 to 62 in the rankings and will get a check much larger than he's used to.

I still have Serena left (I think her next match will be a little tough but I hope she comes through)
I like Haas too... Hope he can do something in his next match!  Go Tommy!

The rest... I'm just watching.  Sloan is through but she hasn't really impressed me at all.  On the men's side, it still looks like a Murray/Novak final but we will see.
Serena won her match 6:2 6:0. The question here is not her winning Wimbledon ... it's how many games she will lose in the final.

Serena is overrated. Everyone says she is so much better than the rest of the field. She is NOT. In fact, players like Li Na, Kvitova, and others still in the draw are better than Serena on the ground. One day, Serena will have a poor serving day...and GAME OVER!  :)>>>>

Hahaha!

Sit down, Dallas!

GLPOAT!!!!

and there is zero chance of your getting married at the rate you are going.

just go and get yourself a couple of dogs for a little bit of company around the house. oh wait. that would be too cruel: you would bore them to death.

Janowicz is the hottest item in tennis right now.
Boards are full of threads about him, his best surface is to be determined but he looks to be good everywhere with his game.
