Your point is spot on, but tbh here has never been much of a discussions when top dogs aren't playing, not to mention even some atp events go totally unmentioned
Recently I bumped your thread just to start some conversation without mentioning top dogs. It didn't see the light tbh.

Anyway the quality is what we are after, not quantity.

I'd be gloating in the Upsets Bandwagon thread.  :)~

It shouldn't be hard to guess which final I'd love to see and which not, DelPowicz or Noleray?

Luggernaut, why don't you have one of the 1000 pictures of Tommy I took in your signature?

Dasco 45 winners/45 UE, Murray 36 winners/13 UE

Janowitcz 45 winners/13 UE, very good

Djokovic 36 winners/12 UE, Djokovic 16 aces/ Berdych 6 (that's surprising) ...Djokovic reaches 13th consecutive SF at majors

darn, didn't catch DP, Berdych and Kubot

Tomorrow's OOP:

http://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/scores/schedule/schedule18.html

Too bad Lisicki-Radwanska is the 2nd match on CC, men's doubles SFs will probably by finished during it. Without Sabine, I might rather watch men's doubles SFs than women's singles SFs. I'm torn between the teams in Paes/Stepanek vs. Dodig/Melo. I'd love Steps to win doubles Wimbledon but Dodig's had a good Wimby in both singles and doubles and a doubles title would be nice for him.

If Lisicki wins tomorrow, this tournament will be justified. Too bad I won't be able to see the match  :(

Women's doubles not much discussed here, but here's a little. The Czech team Hlavackova/Hradecka lost to Aussies Barty/Dellacqua in QF. I would've liked them to win Wimbledon this year, they were the runner-ups last year at Wimbledon, Olympics, and US Open. But they have at least one GS title, Frech Open 2011.

Wow, can't believe I'm agreeing with you - but I am. I hope she takes the title.
And Alex, I'm going to shock you again....With who is left in the men's draw....I'm actually going to be pulling for......wait for it......Go Novak!!!! He has really impressed me with his play so far so I think has an excellent shot to win the entire thing.

Luggernaut, why don't you have one of the 1000 pictures of Tommy I took in your signature?

I mean, I've got better pictures than those  :))

this was made by Herc much after I saw your  pics of Tommy. I didn't have any sig with pics back then.
But I'm definitely up for it, you might recommend smth in Haas thread so I could use  :)
Like in this one, I'm looking for the variety of his shots on all sides, especially that lovely flat bachand  :))
Also I don't like it to be too big so I will ask Herc to do it again if we could come up with some better picture variety.

I like the blueish tone of this sig, it describes me and what I like about Tommy and his variety  :gleam:

guys, don't get me wrong but some of your signatures are freaking HUGE. they take like a half of a page.

btw, are you guys aware that Fed will be playing both Gstaad and Hamburg (250 and 500 clay tournaments). What do you think?

Hamburg is obvious though, Tommy is there. They all have to go on a big lunch with their family.  :)~

Delpo played sublime tennis despite that fall in the very first game. What a scare that was and to happen against the worst opponent, really. Hope his knees are alright. Really liking Delpo to advance to the final.

Nole is looking very, very good at the moment. If Delpo is alright then I hope to catch a really good match. Too bad Berdych couldn't hold it mentally when he was 3-0 up in the 2nd. You never know with this guy, really.

Kubot is more of a claycourt player so wasn't surprised that he lost. This qtr opened up quite a bit for both Jerky and Kubot. Their run however should end at this point.

Murray is getting nervous and getting tight as he progresses. Verdasco, on the other hand, played freely taking his chances and going all out. He had nothing to lose and was hitting at every angle hence the equal amount of errors and winners. He was difficult to break and his forehand was relentless. Murray needs to raise his game against Jerky who's even harder to break. All other matches were straight sets affair except for this one.

Not a bad day for tennis.
You are everything I am not.
