Oookay, gonna have to take your word on that  :))

But did she change her bouncy serve motion with bouncing before going on baseline to serve?

change your fitness and you can change your fortunes in tennis.

the problem is that most players are too lazy. I see nole and murray having a monster work ethic at the moment.

guys like brian Gottfried, vilas, borg, and muster thought nothing of training for 8-9 hours in a single day. they loved it.

lendl changed his fitness and became a world beater. nadal took down the greatest player of all time with his fitness and his will alone. he did something that has never been done before nor will ever be done again in history: he took home 8 RG crowns and dominated the red clay with his fitness for a decade.

and now nole is the new lendl and nadal. he works as hard as they used to in their primes.

God post Herc. I'd say 'change your fitness and you can change your fortunes in your life'. We all need to do a bit more. I see so many obese people in North America. It's really sad. I need to do more too, much more. I always complain about time ... but it's just an excuse ... :\

OK, I'll say this...
Congratulations to Bartoli for her first (and probably only) grand slam :rofl_2: ... ok... that's a cheap shot, I know.

As far as tomorrow.... I'll probably be pulling for Novak, but in reality, whoever wins is fine.  If Murray wins...then I'll congratulate him and Sid.  If Novak wins, I'll congratulate him and Alex.  Hopefully it'll be a great match...so....may the best man tomorrow win!!!! I'll say this about Murray...Sid, I actually can watch him play and enjoy it when he's aggressive (and not passive).  He's improved his game tremendously.  He's improved his fitness and mental toughness.  Maybe my man Lendl has something to do with it?  (See back in the day, Lendl was my man), so maybe he's made me appreciate Murray a little more than I use to.  So if Murray wins -- good for him.

On Novak.  He's been playing so consistently so he has set himself up really good to win tomorrow as well.  If he plays his best, he has a great shot at winning his 2nd Wimbledon. I didn't like Novak in his early career, partly due to his antics and his parents.  He's changed since then so he's not bad to watch either.

So good luck to my two buddies (Alex and Sid) tomorrow...These 2 players deserves to be in the final.  Good luck! :grind dance:

Be for reals, Dallas. The one thing that Lendl has instilled in Murray is "slow and steady wins the race." Murray's best chance tomorrow is to extend this match beyond 12 games in the 5th set.

So I am torn on who I want to win.  I like Nole and his game.  I love Murray's game and would love to see him win the Big W to take the pressure off of him for finally winning it for Brittan.

Either way, I am hoping for a 5 set epic match (what's new?).  I have lots of work to do today, would love to see 5 hours of tennis to keep my work more interesting!

Whooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Good Luck on the Court!!!

Congrats Bartoli  :king:

Now the final starts. Hopefully Nole destroys him something like 6-2 6-3 6-1. I don't have much time

It's official, the ATP & WTA have united to become one tour.
In the first 7 games of The Gentleman's Championships there have been 3, yes THREE, breaks of serve and numerous baseline rallies extending more than 20 shots.  The majority of those rallies have ended in UFE's.

I shall boycott the remainder of this 'Ladies' final.

That's why I watched the boy's final and Formula 1 German Grand Prix to finish first.
