well it is what it is. Djokovic played one of the worst matches in his career. However I don't want to take anything away from Murray who won fair and square. As for me, oh well ... let's listen to some good disco songs  :)

I am completely enjoying the way both players are looking for ways to adjust to the conditions

This is the only interesting comment I found reading through.

I'm looking at some highlights, now. It looks like a beautiful day.

Was it really windy, like the US Open? Yeah, that required making adjustments and Murray is definitely a better wind player than Nole.

Did they start under the roof and finish under the sky?

Don't tell me "the conditions" = it was +80 degrees?

Are tennis players such pussies that they deserve to be acknowledged when it's 80F?

Well, I am beginning to empathize with the boys. It's 84 with 52% humidity on the deck at Cap'n Bab's Lakeside Outdoors Margarita Cantina & Grill. I've adjusted to the conditions. The tequila is cutting the humidity.

You're coolin' out nicely Bruddah!
Temps over 90F and relative humdiddy runnin' 75-90%.
Been pullin' 4+ gallons a water per day outta the dehumidifiers in the Monstah cave.
Rumor has it, this weather pattern won't break until early August.
Fires in the west and moss growin in the east. :(

My first ever concert with a friend was in 1977. Gloria Gaynor opened for the Village People in San Francisco's Cow Palace. The significance of an all male crowd in SF was completely lost on a couple of 11 year olds.

Some folks consider me 'technologically challenged'.
I prefer to think myself as more in touch with nature and the people in my life than the world of The Machine.  Quite a shift from the electronics tech/programmer that I was a few decades ago. :))

yup, that's what decided the match. Nole had a day off. I can't remember him being so poor in a slam final. I can't remember but I think he hit 41 UE and only 30 winners or something like that. I'm too lazy to check out stats and it doesn't really matter. horrible performance.

except when he lost to him in Miami and claimed to have played the worst match of his career. "The results show everything. As far as I'm concerned, it's definitely the worst match I have played in a long time."

I think we are slowly approaching the era of *Any match Novak loses is the worst he's played in his career*. Other club members include *Nadal only loses when his knees are hurting and he's injured* and *Federer only loses because he's getting old and can't win everything*

And Monster, your 7 yr. old PC in your damp, cluttered basement is a lot better than you think. I was trying out this Tapatalk business that I see Dallas and Bab use on my Nexus and half my posts never made it onto the boards  :rofl_2:

I didn't feel like retyping all my posts on a computer so I'll stick to a simple Congrats to Murray for keeping his game tight and clean, even being the more aggressive player at times and thoroughly earning that Wimbledon crown. Not one of Novak's best days but then again a mark of a champion is that he brings whatever he can every day to do his best to win - not to bring his best every time he steps on court. And both players did that and Murray came out ahead.  :king:

Bahh thats also one of those privileges top dogs can get away with. Excuses. Haas simply outplayed him in every aspect of the game in Miami. Novak was also mentioning close shots, like Tommy was lucky to get away with those. What did he expect? Grinding fest with boring rallies vs Haas?? :rofl_2:

I was never fan of excuses and trust me as a Haas fan I can come up with more excuses than any of the top dogs combined considering Tommy's career. But It doesn't really matter, you need to stay classy and accept the loss the best you can.

They always say like I've lost to better player today, but they don't leave that as it is, they have to continue--BUT I was tired after all, or I wasn't at my 100%. Yeah we get it...

tommy was just pure tommy that day. people forget that he was once a world #2.

so the man has monster gift for the game.

tommy was patient with point construction in Miami and he pulled the trigger at exactly the right time all night.
