What's wrong with the courts this Wimbledon?

Gulbis fell several times.
 
The Center court is starting to wear down along the baseline. 
 
Don't know how Fed can handle the grass without orange shoe bottoms.

Don't know how Fed can handle the grass without orange shoe bottoms.
He must have cleats of some sort. :confused1:

All the courts will wear down,the first few days it's always abit slippy under foot.

maybe grass is fit only for cows.
 
 
 
either allow a longer period on grass so players can adjust or do away with the bloody surface.
 
 
very serious injuries and even career ending injuries can occur on slick grass.
 
2 weeks for grass is not enough.

Cleats are allowed I believe.
From the pics, today's grass shoes seem to have pips similar to an pips-out table tennis bat.  In days past, actual cleats were worn.

I expect we'll here more from the players and the tourney admin re: this issue as the tourney progresses.  Perhaps it is a conspiracy to ease the path to the final for Muzza...... :whistle:
