Murray is the heavy favorite for the US Open, no doubt now. He must be brimming with confidence as defending Wimbledon + US Open champion + Gold Medal winner.
Then we will fight in the shade.

Murray is going for the Wimbledon USO double, one of the hardest pair of slams to win.

It's good that Murray is getting his day in the sun, he worked for years for it.   :king:

Hail Hail!!! King Murray!!!!   :rofl_2:

why don't you send him some scotch then if you feel so bad for him?

maybe he should not be rubbing nole`s #1 rank in andy`s face.

also alex is unlike the others. he has an excellent sense of humor.
he and I have been messing around with each other for years. alex can take care of himself quite well.

and what about you general swish? any more predictions? go ahead and make one for the next slam.

 :)) :)) :)) :)) :rofl_2: :rofl_2: :rofl_2:

speaking for the Australian open general swish, I will go on record right now and right here and say that nole is going to most likely bag the next 2-3 Australian open crowns.

he could end up with 7 of them.

the surface is just right for his game.

That's his surface, Nadal has RG and Fed has Wimby.
Murray may have the USO.

All 4 of them are hell to play anywhere, how's anyone going to break through with those 4 destroyers in the line up.

They make guys like Dimitrov, Jerzy, Raonic look like amateurs.

nadal, roger, nole, and murray are the ultimate mothers of all sharks.

no way in hell can anybody hope to get a slam with these 4 all time greats circling waters.

I have a feeling that we are about to have one hell of a u.s. open this year.

it is going to be war there.

Fed I heard is going to play some smaller tournaments on clay.

I have the feeling they will start building a solid foundation, serve, movement etc.
He'll also build some endurance there and be able to try to work his game into shape.

It'll be good for him to get some practice, that BH is bad, The Stack took his weak replies to serve and put it away all match long.

The forehand had little zip on it and the accuracy was well below Fed's average.

Fed's at a point now where he can't take time off, he has to have a busy schedule and keep his form.

The days of playing into form are gone.

affirmative general.

I think roger is playing these small clay events to work on his ground game. very smart move.

and he keeps his knees and his joints healthy in the process.

nole practices on clay on year around basis.

I hope the clay will help him, time for him to get into the trenches and get dirty.

There's no easy way back for Fed anymore, he'll have to put in some damn hard yards from now on to get his game back.

The wake up call was bloody loud.

both nadal and roger were totally unprepared at Wimbledon. it was a good lesson for them.

the sport is too demanding today. you must put in those hard yards damn near every single day or you are likely to get ambushed by those who are more hungry.

Can't argue with this list.

I have Nole as the favorite and hope Del Potro stays healthy.

I have a feeling Nadal and Fed will be working hard to prove a point.

you always have nole as the favorite. you had him beating nadal at RG and then you had him beating andy murray at wimby.

one day you will be right but that day is not going to be this year.

andy murray is going to be able to defend his crown at the u.s. open. his wimby win not only furnishes him with the belief that he can do it, it also furnishes him with the added motivation.

and did I mention that andy is the defending champion.

I like Nole's game, he's been close everywhere.

I got it right at the AO.  :)

I like Tommy's chances here.
He'll most likely be seeded above #13, so that would mean no top4 players in 4th round.
When that happens anything is possible. He can really go deep.

Kohli had a great tun last year, especially that Isner match, so I hope he'll continue that route.

Wawrinka with a decent draw and considering his nice run this year is a potential threat to anyone.
