I say he's the beneficiary of a sweet draw. Things will get tougher for him this summer.

I don't see it happening.

I don't see it happening. As far as I can see, we have, for all practical purposes 7 slots filled up already, in the follow order of confidence. These folks are already well on their way or are most definitely going to be well on their way after a good showing at the USO and a masters tournament or two. Barring injury and major fallout from their consistent performances, these 7 are a shoe in to the WTF's, leaving really only 1 spot open, which Del Potro is soon looking to be the hot favorite for. We might be seeing more depth and challenge from the second tier of players like Wawrinka, Gasquet, Cilic, Haas and now Janowicz and such but overall the consistency of the 8 folks listed below almost surely pave their way to the WTF, so no real room for anyone new unless they're on the cusp and can upset the race towards the end of the year.

Nadal
Djokovic
Murray
Ferrer
--
Tsonga
Berdych
Federer
--
Del Potro

Which is more likely to happen: Janowicz qualifying for WTF or Federer NOT qualifying for WTF.

Who?
I don't care what other people think about Jerzy. He has a lot of area need to be improved. That is fact to him.

You know, Rafa 'The Humble One' Nadal. :)
I think you're right, JJ has plenty to work on if he has any hopes of seriously contending for slams or spending any time in the top 10.
I think he has a fun game to watch and I hope he works hard at improving.
That will determine his long-term results.
CONK da ball!!!

its only a matter of time. give him 2 years and then watch him dominate the game. he will do well on quicker surfaces.

He has a chance, he'll be just 915 points behind Wawrinka with a SF win at Wimbledon.

We have two HC masters and the USO coming up, he'll have to do well in those.

In the past year he's made the finals of a masters(Paris) beating
Philipp Kohlschreiber
Marin Cilic
Andy Murray
Janko Tipsarevic
S Gilles Simon

He's also beat Tsonga, Gasquet and Querrey this year.

At this Wimby he beat Stepanek and also Almagro in straights.
As for endurance he took Melzer to five sets and won.

True, but that's a good sign as there is plenty room for improvement on top of how well he's doing now.

He is surprised me that he can win long rally against top 4. His backhand is improved again.

He's been improving all year, some here and some there but getting better.

It'll be interesting how he does on hards!

Something worth mentioning, in addition to the clay tournaments Fed is playing post Wimbledon, he didn't play the Rogers Cup last year.
