He was playing with the new stick. I haven't see any changes yet.

Watched Fed's highlights, some really incredible points.

Seems like he's enjoying the switch.

Stunning, as I would expect some sort of adjustment period or improvement.  You must not be watching closely enough! ;-()

Fog is starting to play much more consistently. These match-ups will pop up more and more.

I caught most of the second set. Not much action. I never saw Tommy inside the baseline. Most of the time he was well behind. But I only saw Fabio come in 3 times. Lots of clay court rallies.

Glad Roger came through. I had my doubts!

Dallas - Fed had to wear a vest during the match and was barely arching his back for serves. His 1st serve speed was around 150kph. I think the end is nigh.
Then we will fight in the shade.

Never saw Fed wear the vest outside. Just having the vest handy probably means the problem is still there and he was prepared for it. Not good.

He had plenty of time to take care of the problem but it wasn't enough apparently.

They said the temperature drastically went down in Hamburg after the sun set.  Once they closed the roof, Roger took the vest off.

FFF said the serve speed was slow, but maybe it's the new racket.
Fed needs to get used to it before really being able to push it.
That's what I'm thinking anyway.

It could be that Fed had the forecast and was prepared with the vest.  ://

All in all, he's doing OK I would guess for not having good form at Wimbledon, having a new racket and then playing on clay.

We'll get a good look at him once he plays the HC masters.   :)

I think it at least drop 10 km. The top speed of Jerzy's serve is only 220km and he mostly serves for 195-215 km range at Hamburg.

The colder temps mean slower serve speeds.

Saw a bit of Delbonis v. Verdasco.
As much as I like 'Nando, I found myself rooting for Delbonis!
Dude is not afraid to move forward and has a fairly fluid game.

It appears as though he finished off Verdasco and then went through Fed in straight sets! :scared:

Let's see how he does against a red hot Fognini. :)

Lol!!

Fed lost to a Q no one has heard of and not a peep about it on T4U?

Back to back titles for Fognini. Jerzy doesn't have a chance to get to WTF.
