Hola herc darling. Long time no see. I thought you'd know at least why I am not at Camelot anymore but it's ok. I see myself as a refugee anyway going from forum to forum. A gypsy, a hippie if you will. It's much more fun this way.  :))

Well CD, what's your take on Nadal?

His game needs repetition and with a new stick he'll have to fine tune that also.

He has two areas that need work now, my guess is that his game will come around soon.

I thought it looked different.
Any word on why the switch?
From what little I've seen, he appears to be playing more aggressively and taking more risks.  He didn't seem to be very comfortable doing that.

Why the eyeroll, Luggy dear? Would you rather we were all dead instead of being here?

he lost focus a while back

he lost his insane and relentless will at some point.

he took on way too many outside activities and outside interests at precisely the time others decided to take their fitness higher than ever before.

that has compounded the issue of winning and dominating.

at the current rate he could drop out of top 20.

no way to get it back unless he dedicates himself totally and completely to the sport for about 6-8 months.

in other words he has to ditch the world and start working on his game and his fitness 6-7 hours a day.

he stopped putting in the long hard yards and it cost him but he did it knowingly.

he knew it was going to cost him.

no CD, Rafa is simply getting old.  He may get distracted by outside activities but this is still not the main reason that he is no longer himself.  Remember, his style requires a lot of physical strength while Roger has a game that is easy on his body.

even if he works 6-7 hours may not help him that much as he is on downhill, just like many great players  :(

This is true, actually some of those outside interests made me kinda disgusted with him

I still think he will win RG, in case he loses he really doesn't know what he's doing lol

i don't like him posing in undie for GA coz I am conservative.  A tennis player should be way more elegant than selling his butt  ..-)

no, I really don't think he is giong to win RG, but in case he surprised me by winning, I gonna buy myself and mum some extravagent stuff to celebrate  :cloud 9: :first-place: :uh: :yay: :winner: :worthy: :Play Ball: :ice cream:

I know people are looking at Rome with a lot of interest but in all honesty, I don't think it will tell anything at all. RG looks deeply mysterious.

The whole tennis world is watching him. They are waiting, to see what's what.

He's looking better.

I heard he changed to a new racket and now has changed back to the old one.

In any case he is getting better.

It's up to him now, focus, work and a powerful will to win is all it will take.

It's not too late, he's not too old and what he's lost can be regained.

I'd really like it if someone else won RG (not Federer however) but that's just me. It will be really refreshing to see someone else other than Fedal winning RG. It's been so looooooong due.
