Maria will win FO 14 with this horrific performances, tons of double serves, if Bouchard did not choke, she may have won.  Women's tennis is really bad at the moment  ..-)

It looks like Sugarpova will do it.

Gulbis and Nole should be really good but Gulbis' coach said this:

Quote
Bresnik: ''Ernests hasnít a hope''

What kind of a coach is that?  :)>>>>

Maybe just mind games but who's mind is he working on.    :rofl_2:

mind game is not really that useful for me, the main thing is the performances on the court  :)

I think the best that Gublis can do is to take 1 set  :king:

I think the same way, Gulbis may take a set...  maybe.
He isn't good enough yet. But is much better than before.

Gulbis will be really pushing hard though, he's never been in this situation with his game and in a tournament this big.
It's the most important match in his life, that makes it very exciting.
I'll be at work and will miss all of it, maybe when I come home I won't visit any sites and just look at the replay. I've never done that before so it's new for me.

i watched a bit more of Gublis's match and noticed that his exagerrating forehand is still the same.  I thought he had changed may be because i did not see him hitting his forehand that much in the Roger's match  :rofl_2:

I hope Gublis can keep his nerves and plays a good match but guess Nole is ready and will play great

i can't do that, if i missed the match, i would check the score before i watch the re-play.  You know, i may not watch if knowing that my favourite lost  :))

bye  :Bleh: :Bleh: :Play Ball: :H :H

Nole said he is sick and i don't much believe him, guess it is also mind game.  The weather on Sunday does not favour rafa, it will be rainy and windy, poor Rafa, got another runner up plate  ..-) :)>>>>

Hi mimi, I missed the SF's. They started too late for me to catch any of it.

Gulbis did well this tournament and he says he's really motivated now. We will see.

Djokovic has a few days to rest so not sure if he has a cold or whatever.

Hi mimi, you can stop worrying aobut Nadal for awhile as he has his title and also qualified for the year end WTF I heard.

Nole was still not well and heard he threw up on court but though seeing the match I didn't see it.
Nadal was said to have back problems again by McEnroe during the match, but don't know how he knew.
Later he said Nadal's back was fine, all of this he knew from the broadcasting booth.  :head-bash:

Maria is lucky to win, she is just mentally and physically stronger.  She made a lot of double faults and errors.

by the way, welcome to the board, please post more  :king:

hello Dr Swish

I really thought Rafa was going to lose after losing the first set.  But then Nole helped him a lot by making a lot of errors  :king:  I think Nole is a bit sick  ://

He wasn't moving like normal but Nadal wasn't looking great either, both of them were off quite a bit.

I was waiting for some real good rallies but there wasn't much excitement.
Even the first set Djokovic didn't play great but Nadal was even worse.

I kept waiting the whole match for them both to raise their level and then it just ended, on a double fault!

if Roger stays more focus (i think he did not seem to care too much in RG, otherwise he should have won the match with Gublis with set points in set 2) and determined, he may win wimby.  After all, he is an expert on grass.  No one should underestimate the 7 times winner. :))

rafa please win at least 3 matches, i want to watch him on my live tv :grind dance:  Last 2 years were a torture for me coz i even did not get to see him before he was being kicked out  :rofl_2:
