I learned English using my free time. Some part is learned in school, the other part is learned using TV, books and video games. :gleam:

I am aware of the quantity of Romania-in-the-Balkans mistakes. Fact is that Romania is extremely close to the Balkan mountains, that is why this error is common place. But Romania has the Carpathians mountains, which are of a different age than the Balkans, so geographically, Romania does not adhere to the Balkan mountains or peninsula. Geo-politically though, Romania has a history within the Balkan peninsula countries, which may be the reason of this "integration".

I've seen that mistake also. This is the chart over the Balkans I'm used to:
http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fil:Balkan_topo_en.jpg

Politically, around here we tend to include all former parts of Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Albania and Greece.

and did you punch a hole at her ears coz it seems that I see an earrings? Won't it hurt for a little baby?  I remember that it was quite painful when i did it, even though I was already 18  ://

I know nothing about Cilic's bloodtest to be honest. I didn't quite follow the story.

The earring holes were made when she was newborn. Yes, it was probably painful, but she forgot the pain in a matter of hours. No trauma, no pain memory.

is it a tradition for Romanians to make earring holes for new born babies? :confused1:

Hello Mimi!  :king: Don't like the sound of that cough  :( I hope it will pass soon. Here in Norway it's not as hot anymore, but quite pleasant weather :))

I'm not saying anything about Cilic at this point, I've seen positive tests be overturned before.

Heavens no, it's no tradition. Just parental choice to do it when it's the least traumatic moment possible. The newborn body is at maximum regeneration and the pain is quickly forgotten.

Hot weather over here, we had 36 Celsius yesterday, which should be frequent in summer, but this summer it was for the first time. :)

Average for winter is something like -5C. Most days are between +5C and -15C. It's colder further North, I live in the southeastern part of Norway. Luckily, we have summer now, and temperatures around 20 for the past two weeks, at least during the day. Mornings and evenings are colder.

I am not a specialist and can't say much about the tests, but I remember several being explained away afterwards without sanction. So I wait until everything is clear before commenting. I too would like him to be innocent.

I agree, 20 is very nice  :))

Roger is considering dropping Montreal  :( He's not sure his back will be good enough to play by then. And Rafa is considering dropping Cincinnatti, so they might not both be in the same tournament until US Open. A pity. We can only hope they'll be healthy enough to play when they want  ://

33? Wow!  :scared: That's too much for me. And Marian has 36...I am not good in those temperatures. It is no coincidence I live in the North  :)  I have been on holiday in warmer places, and I never felt comfortable there. Better to travel in winter than summer.

Yes, Andy and Nole are favourites, no doubt about it. But they'll have to play first, everyone would like to beat them  :innocent:

i saw many Western tourists wore short-sleeves even in one of our coldest day, I always thought they were from the North of Europe  :))

I wish for a new winner in us open, I am very bad, i don't want nole to win more slams than rafa  :innocent:
