where the heck is everyone? what's up tonight?

Working as usual here!
I think you do  too much. spend more time with your kids ... I put so much into my work, it made me sick ...

I found work to be motivating as long as I like the job.
Used to work arond 90 hrs. a week, no problem.

At one job we worked one 112 hr week and then two 84 hours a week alternating for 3 months.

It's time to press the panic button!
Then we will fight in the shade.

Work can be very motivating. I find interesting work more motivating than studying, studying is about learning things you may need to know later.

I'm so happy for Phil Mickelson winning the British Open golf championship. He used to struggle on the British Open's links courses and it looked he may never win it. But today he won it, and not by accident, he won the European Tour event Scottish Open on links courses last week. Now hopefully he can complete the Career GS and win the US Open where he's been the runner-up six times, last time this year.

Still, a bit gutted for Lee Westwood. He's a 40-year-old former World #1 and yet to win a major championship. He was leading with two shots after yesterday and Mickelson was even five shots behind. Hopefully he'll win a major one day.

Congrats to Phil Mickelson. I never expected him to ever win a British Open!
Then we will fight in the shade.

Good for Phil. The final round of 66 put him ahead and was the best round of the day.

Yeah, I'm not sure what the deal is with Fognini???

Delbonis had a great run.
I caught some of his match with Verdasco and really like his style of play.
Perhaps he can build on his success this past week ala Janowicz.  :fingers crossed:

he is young and inexperience, he should have won the title  ..-)

do you still miss Sampras?  I love him.

It's still 2 weeks till Montreal.

Then everyone will be back and hopefully ready.  :king:

The Fog is really showing up everywhere, not just a lucky win here and there.

Delbonis almost pulled it off, he must really feel bad about it to come so close and a 500 tournament too.

He looked pretty cool for 'young and inexperienced'.
Match play at the upper level should fix that in due time.

I do miss Sampras-style tennis.
A player supremely confident in their service.
Willing to move forward when the opportunity arises and sometimes when it doesn't.
Always putting pressure on the opponent to hold, knowing that you'll always hold.
Outstanding put away volleys.
I think Pete was almost as good as Edberg in that department.

I miss JMac & Borg as well.

I just haven't grown that attached to any of the current crop of pros.
I like Nadal's spirit but not his style of play.
Fed is creative and has a great all-around game but is too much of a metro-sexual.
Nole is.....a character, but early on he stalled too much and seemed to be a gamesman.
Andy (not Roddick) has some magic but can be too tentative too often.
Tsonga is a joy to watch, but only on his good days which aren't often enough for me.
Berdych too mentally weak against the top players.
....and the list goes on.

I had very high hopes for Gulbis, Raonic, Querry and a few others.
It appears those aren't going to pan out any time soon.
Am always looking for that glimmer of hope that a brash young lion will enter the arena and punish the ultra conservative players with a solid service and some attacking all-court play.
I shan't be holding my breath whilst I wait though..... :\

Montreal and Cincinnati are the same time I think, USO is just one hour difference.

Not usually good for me either, I miss the early ones in the day but can still catch replays.

I always have trouble with the AO.

Monster: thanks for the great post

Swish: Melbourne's time is faster than HK by 3 hours, so when I get home from office, I usually can only watch the hightlights. That is why FO and wimby are my favourites.  I can never watch us series coz the time to show is my bed time  :ZZZZZ) :ZZZZZ).  What is more, rafa has little chance to win, so  :)~

Usually I can catch a replay but usually will just record/download it unless it's something spectacular.
