sorry, i don't know about American football, i prefer Sorcer and i know Ronaldo etc  :)~

well, at least wawa and not Rafa who you don't like won  :rofl_2:

i am not doing too well health-wise but i try my best to improve, thanks  :king:

I don't dislike Nadal too much but it's mostly the gamemanship, the time wasting, talking to Toni during matches and things like that.

Then there's the fans, lord almighty, some of those fans are true clowns.  :rofl_2:
Other than that, he appears to be a swell lad.

well, no one is an angel.  Many said that Pete was very arrogant in his interviews (i don't know coz at the time when he was playing, internet was not that common).

what is a "swell lad"?
True.

Sampras was certainly no media darling.
That's drastically different than knowingly cheating.

'Swell lad' = good guy.
I'd much rather meet Nadal than any of the other top 4.
CONK da ball!!!

may be I am biased, i don't really think Rafa wastes time in order to cheat, he just wants to be more careful in important points like when there is break points against him, that he plays slower.  I think many players do this too, just that their average time is quicker than him, so they do not exceed the time limit

many grunts louder intenitonally when they are behind, the purpose of which for sure is that they don't want to lose, if time wasting is a kind of cheating, grunting lounder is also too coz it distracts the opponents

He's a professional tennis player.
He knows the rules.
He knows he is breaking the rules.
He knowingly & willingly disregards the rules in order to control the tempo of play.
He is not the only player that does did this consistently.
Hence the MT UBACheetah asterisk beside every single match he won.

I'm pleased to admit that he has done an excellent job of playing closer to the time constraints in recent months.  Perhaps ecstatic is a better word.  Previously I refused to watch both he and Nole because of their extremely poor sportsmanship.

Don't get me goin' on gruntin' and squeelin'.
Only pigs should be doing that. ;-()

you have a reasonable point and are right, but I am not a serious tennis fans as you and certainly not as knowledgeable too

I am not so strict, so i don't think this is a very bad gamesmanship, may be i am biased, i find cursing at empire, throwign rackets etc are even worst.  Anyway, rafa should better stick to the rules.   I hope he gonna improves ://

I'm just a hacker/long-time tennis fan.  I only know a little bit about the game/sport we all love.
My opinion really carries no more weight than your own Mimi. ://

I'm pleased that the ruling powers finally pushed the violators of the time rule to speed things up.  All players involved have done a much better job.
My limited attention span prevented me from watching their matches in the past.  Now I can watch some of their matches for a short period.

As much as I dislike Nadal's style of play, I certainly admire his heart and the spirit with which he competes.  His game provides a nice contrast to the attackers and pushes them all to new heights.  I consider him the Penultimate Punisher!

y are too humble, for sure you know a lot more than me  :king:

nadal's shots are not as beautiful as those Roger's make but i also love his fighting spirits, he is mentaly more tough than the Great Roger and i love watching his brilliant passing shots  ://

mimi - better to stick to steamed vegetables, cut out all bread, noodles. Brown rice is good, but only steamed/boiled.

Do they have shelters there?
We have some here but people drink too much and if they have nowhere to go they can die from the cold.
