If Isner plays true to form, Del Potro will be in trouble. Either way, I hope it goes 3 hours  ;-()

Perfect match so far for my liking  :))

A couple of nice girls in the crowd. One of them had a team rafa black tshirt on while waving american flag, and the other was sitting amongst a couple of girlfriends and in a black lowcut top.
shame on you. instead of watching tennis, you are watching women in the crowd :fish:

That's up to the cameraman  :innocent: he has good taste in spectators (sometimes).
Before the match began, I wanted Isner to win, but now I don't mind, as long as Nadal again defeats Berdych. I bet Nadal will be fired up big time right now. Imagine if you told him this year or in ANY YEAR OF HIS CAREER that he'd win 3 consecutive hardcourt masters shields! This is crazy. Nadal surely will be more motivated than ever to cash-in. He'll feel its worthwhile going through a marathon if necessary to win this Cincy crown, regardless of the US Open being around the corner. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to win Cincy!

These 2 guys cover the court better than all the other big guys. Its very entertaining.

Carlos Bernardes is the umpire I dislike the most, so good to see he won't be at the Nadal-Berdych semi.

...about the Race because people at home are saying, "uh wut? Why isn't Rafa #1?" Or "Screw the rankings, they're based on a retarded 12 month system. Rafa is the real #1 by far."

When's the last time a real #1 went out in a slam in the first round?

Come the end of the year, you're going to be able to answer this question to your own satisfaction.

Berdych is a good guy. You can tell he's appreciative of Nadal and wants him to succeed. Great amigos after the early rocky years.
“It is not too far way,” Toni Nadal told The Australian after Nadal collected the 13th major of his career by mowing down Novak Djokovic in an electrifying final of the US Open. “It is getting very, very close for Rafa to be level with Roger or more.”

Ester would be virtually perfect if she put on some weight. Crazy thin. But excellent in every other aspect.

Berdych chokes again and gets broke. His whole career has been like that.

Except for a couple of slams vs Federer.

Nadal's winners, incredible in that set. He's hitting the ball with so much POWER. Incredible. I like 2013 standard more than 2010.

why was Berdych arguing with the umpire?

why was Berdych arguing with the umpire?

Berdych thought Nadal took too long to decide to challenge the point, late in the 1st set.

Funny moment here at 1-1 in 2nd set: Berdych challenged and the umpire said "Which one do you want to challenge?"
Challenge worked out.

Both guys are holding serve very easily today, especially Nadal. Not a long match, considering the score.

Commentator just said Nadal is building a 25 court tennis center at his home!

Nadal 7-5 3-4 on serve.
Berdych broke serve in 2nd set, and Nadal broke back.
Was uneventful match before that with mostly easy holds (only one breakpoint in 1st set, and Nadal won it).

Nadal: 27 winners 27 unforced errors
Berdych: 21 winners 21 unforced errors
