Just to update you:

Baron Britbox has responded to my concerns and feels the situation went too far to be salvageable.  No more Castle at TF.

Please let me know if the Castle or something like it is started on other forums.

Thanks.

Respectfully,
masterclass

I don't think tented and moxie would have let it work there anyway. they are the ones that control baron. they hack at him day and night to make sure that the castle is left to a 2nd class citizenship.  that is why they removed me and javi from the mods.

I never asked him to make me a mod by the way. but once javi and I both started hanging out there together, I thought having a couple of familiar names at the top--as in mods written in green--would help steer a few more people that way.

people have known javi and me for a long time. they tend to feel safer and secure with us around.

so it was working. we were producing some growth and additional recognition and exposure for them.

and then tented and moxie became threatened and started to meddle and started editing and deleting posts by the posters left and right.

it was not enough that they already did not care for the castle and showed zero interest in it, they had to start meddling like a couple of power hungry fools.

so while it may appear that suddenly it took a turn for the worst, their philosophy would not make it work.

and I agree with general masterclass: some leadership at the castle is important.

here masterclass upholds the principles and the founding values of the castle in place.

Diana  has the other castle on auto pilot and keeps a close watch on it.

tennis forums will be a military outpost.

we will maintain a castle here and at mtf obviously.
so that is 3 already.

at some point we may wish to grab an open source totally free forum software and start a small community of "Knights of the castle for tennis".

we can name you (general masterclass), general javier, general slasher, general august, betty, nikki, and general nekro, as the administrators of the "knights of the Castle".
it doesn't even matter who really. its not like we are going to be doing anything. we will just be having fun.

and I am 100% certain that nobody will bother us. if anything, people will want to join the community just to stay somewhat connected.

all it needs is avatar capability, posting capability, sig capability, and blog capability.

it is just that simple. we don't need all that other nonsense.

Thanks.

It is all a matter of money and time. I think I should start off my contacting my friend today to find out when exactly he is going to Georgia. I need an exact date to see how much is the flight.  :\

next year I need to travel to Europe. first place I want to see is Scotland.

southern france, spain, and Portugal will be on the list too.

go back general nekro and read my post above again. I left there because of 2 very simple reasons:

1. they deleted and edited sid`s posts at the castle

2. they deleted and edited your post where you were simply pointing out to somebody that I was pretty good with some long term predictions at mtf.

Why did they delete/edit sid's posts? Did they give any reasons?

I think this deal was steeped deep in their philosophy. they felt threatened that the castle might become too big and too popular like it did at mtf.

tented and moxie want to keep their pulse on everything and control every aspect of that place.

she was always trying to lecture me and trying desperately to show me that she was somebody important and always in charge. she even told to me stop posting at my own castle art gallery thread.

tented old me 3 times not to post an order of play at the castle.

they meddled, deleted, and edited all those posts to send a clear signal that we are nothing but 2nd class citizens there.
and that they were the owners of that site and wanted to control each and every aspect of it.

I do not find that acceptable.

we brought them too much and all we got in return was continued abuse from moxie and tented.

baron did what moxie and tented wanted him to do.

at any rate all it is a home made forum. open source free forum software is all over the internet. there are 100 different free software for such a forum.

I am not peddling their snake oil anymore.

I did what I always do. I showed I cared and I helped with the growth.

calm down general freaky.

we left because they relegated us to a 2nd class citizenship there.

you will just have to go back to their site and check the last few posts at the castle there unless they have deleted them.

mtf is the only place that kicks out people like me and Feldman. all other sites want people like us.

now these cats at tennis frontier wanted us to work like dogs to bring them growth and recognition and they did not want to pay us.

so I cashed out my chips.

it is really that simple.

They relegated you because they knew you would run the hell out of there like a little kitty as soon as you weren't in charge of the whole place  :rofl_2:
