There may not be a Sunday start but they've already scheduled one extra day, the Monday final. Even though I'd prefer a Sunday start and a Monday final.

here is another thing to consider general august:

they don't have to have a retractable roof over the main stadium. they can just have it on the other main show court. that will be progress.

but their strong propensity to do nothing is fast becoming a bloody joke around the globe.

Ashe should get a roof:

And I remember reading the Monday final was CBS's hope. They had something else for the Sunday evening. I think the new broadcaster ESPN wants to return to a Sunday final.

only a worthless piece of gutter garbage can do such a thing. action Jackson is at it again.

http://www.menstennisforums.com/showthread.php?t=242066

first it was his ass clown contest where he would beg people to vote for me. he tried that for 4 years.

and then he started a thread on the most annoying fan base at mtf. again to promote blind hate.

and then his thread about the most hated tennis players.

all this so he can keep up his agenda to blindly hate nadal and his fans.

what a sick bastardo he is and has always been.

he is a facilitator of reckless blind hate at best.

General, I guess one could have predicted it with Nadal's return and him playing so well.

Yes, it is a sickness to have this. It just promotes and festers hate.
I guess there are some humans that need that kind of entertainment to feel better about themselves.

Respectfully,
masterclass

I think nadal has ruined his life.

it is far better to just enjoy the whole sport if you love the sport.

they are all different: nobody can play like roger and nobody can play like nadal.

and the objective is still to win last time I checked.

nole`s movement of death and his deadly finishing power off both wings makes him a player worth watching.

andy`s ability to produce variety and his own movement of death is a pleasure to watch. he gives it his all. what is there to dislike.

berdych has the most power off the ground. his game is phenomenal to watch when he is on.

Tsonga is a magician on the court.

you either love the sport or you do not. that is the way I look at it.

 :)) :))

Yep. Time for me to sign off.  Will take advantage of the rain and watch a good movie  - maybe The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

Goodnight generals august and hercules and anyone else.

Respectfully,
masterclass

see you later general masterclass.

we should let the germans design a retractable roof and get the aussies to run this last slam of the year.

it is clear that the americans are clueless about tennis and about organizing for this last slam of the year.

Or let's go farther than masterclass with the idea of 2nd grass slam. Let's move the slam to Germany. Halle would have a great stadium but is quite a small town. But make Hamburg a slam on grass. :))

I would not mind a masters event on fast clay (har tru surface) in south America.

and also one masters event on grass in germany.

lets get rid of cinci and miami masters.

they were showing the Agassi vs Sampras match tiebreaker from 2001.

Agassi took the first set but Sampras took the next 3. all 3 in tiebreakers.

his serve was just too big. even for andre`s excellent return of serve, the pete`s serve was just too massive.

Sampras got ridiculous amount of mileage from his serve on quicker courts (hard courts and grass). they just could not return his serve.

today the returns are vastly improved and we have far better athletes. Sampras would have had trouble winning a single slam today.

never in doubt. robredo choked away a chance to at least steal the first set.

he could have served it out.

tipsy needed to take that first set in order to increase his chances. now it is going to get a little tougher for him.

and robredo manages to steal the first set.
