That bagel Djokovic just handed out, is a great example of why people don't believe in Federer right now despite the easy wins he's having. Top 10 players really don't need to deliver anything great in order to win easily over guys ranked 50+.
“It is not too far way,” Toni Nadal told The Australian after Nadal collected the 13th major of his career by mowing down Novak Djokovic in an electrifying final of the US Open. “It is getting very, very close for Rafa to be level with Roger or more.”

That's right, the top players are very superior and easy wins don't mean much.

But even with easy players, usually Fed doesn't push too hard so he's trying to get his game in top condition I assume.

I find most tennis players (or human beings in general) don't know how to ride momentum. Their subconscious relaxes after a success. Only a handful of players are regularly able to maintain momentum.

Haas down two breaks, he can still win if he plays relaxed and gets a few things going his way.

Strange match overall. Would have been epic if Tommy turned it around but oh well.

I guess it was too late when Tommy found his game...

That's too bad. I really wanted to see Haas vs. Hewitt in R4. sorry, Lug. I wasn't able to see the whole match, but from what I was able to see Haas was completely off today.

Djokovic is toying with Sousa 6:0 6:2

Haas giving us false hope everytime he snaps by providing some goat shots.

Yeah no Hewitt-Haas is probably more painful than this.

I've never seen this Smyczek guy playing before. He is a break up in the 5th and it seems that Granola bar is going out.

Wow this Sousa, worst performance I've seen this year from anyone in the world. Maybe the other matches took too much out of him. Hard to believe he's this awful. Worst outfit of the year too.

he almost beat Haas in Washington. He's good and has good game.
Much better than Granollers anyway.

Sousa even managed the worst tweener of the year! Although I must say, even the successful tweeners look stupid and unnecessary.
“It is not too far way,” Toni Nadal told The Australian after Nadal collected the 13th major of his career by mowing down Novak Djokovic in an electrifying final of the US Open. “It is getting very, very close for Rafa to be level with Roger or more.”
